What do you think of the newsletter style?
"Liberator" Tank
A kind of teaser for my faction that I've been working on... (some of you might remember the tank.)
Don't worry about the story with it so far, just look at the tank.
C&C is always appreciated.

I like the style a lot. Very professional looking. And the tank is really cool too! Can't wait to see more of the faction.
Re: "Liberator" Tank
I though you died or gave up on this project...
Well, I do indeed remember this, it was a cool WIP, and now it's just amazing! Love that tank and its decals!
I love the idea so far, can't wait for more Mike!

You wouldn't know how people say that...
While I never gave up on it, my perfectionism and hatred of photography have delayed me from showing what I've done on my faction.
As a side note, I'm over Star Wars (LEGO wise anyway), so the 762nd Legion is effectively done and over.
Re: "Liberator" Tank
Give me all your clones!
This presentation of your tank looks great, but I think it was just a little overkill. If you were trying to sell it I'd say keep it, but other wise you may want to tone it down a bit.

Re: "Liberator" Tank
@MikeZulu: That's understandable.
But your over LEGO Star Wars ? Oh well, this is just as interesting, if not, better ! Can I have your clones...

Re: "Liberator" Tank
Wow, this is a very nice tank and great backstory too!
If you're not into Lego Star Wars anymore can I buy your clones?

Nice job on the tank, and no I am not going to ask for your clones, besides, what would I do with them? I already have my idea for my legion started (even though I'm not in the guild, but I am working on it). Just to make sure noone steals it, my legion is going to be the 444th. Oh and by the way,I also have an idea for my faction !

I have to say this tank is GORGEOUS! It makes me want to go out and by slopes and treads to make my own.

Re: "Liberator" Tank
Agh, no camo! the blue can make it able to see it a mile away, unless it's urban colors then it's alright. Love the twin turrets though!

Re: "Liberator" Tank
It's a tank. When something with a giant frakking gun is coming at you pretty fast, you'll see it, camo or not. Same for the pilot. He doesn't need camo if the other side already knows there's a tank.
You always amaze me, Mike. This fits my perfect image of a tank. I also like the poster, it looks really neat.

Re: "Liberator" Tank
it's possible to destroy a tank you know, if you have the right weapon, BAMM, it's long gong, or if you see it a mile away, just run away like little girls!

Re: "Liberator" Tank
I'm with tj, it does need some camo. Wouldn't be very effective on the battlefield. Nice job on the tank, I really love it. The barrels on the guns fit very well.

You are aware that most republic have a dark red and white, or grey, which doesn't really camoflauge into most of their battles, right?
Re: "Liberator" Tank
Yeah, that's why they got alot of casulties!

Re: "Liberator" Tank
Are we seriously complaining that the awesome design of the tank isn't camo?
Most futuristic tanks and stories don't have camo on them. In fact most futuristic story lines and vehicles to them are just like this one.

In short, this tank and it's layout are brilliant!

It took a fair while to write a story up and to design the format that I liked - I used Publisher, and GIMP to edit the images directly.
Re: "Liberator" Tank
Look, does a tank really need camo? Once it starts jacking off the cannon, all hope of stealth is pretty much gone.
On the tank itself, I absolutely love it! The blue and grey color scheme is brilliant for a futuristic faction.

It really depends on the terrain your fighting in. If this tank is used in an urban city environment, then it does not need camo. If this is used in jungles, or forests, it might help to add some. Look at modern tanks nowadays, they are a sand color, because they are used in the desert. Anyway, I like the poster a lot Mike, and the tank looks great.
