V-wing
This has to be my most unstable MOC to date. It falls apart by looking at it, making it the most challenging MOC to photograph. I used many minifig parts to hold it together, due to the crazy angle of the bottom plates. I'm pleased with how it turned out, but only if there were more parts in trans brown, to build a better cockpit.
Note: This is for a bigger project I hope to have done by the end of the month.

Re: V-wing
You're kidding me. This is the best V-Wing out there. Awesome! I'm guessing the landing gear is hard to pull out. If you hadn't told us it was unstable, I would have thought it was very swooshable!

Re: V-wing
I have seen some way better then this, but this is really really good. I like the cockpit nose, and wings a lot.
Re: V-wing
Alright, I gotta post my issues with this.
Thanks, and my critiquing may not be the best, so don't take it hard.
- The gaps, as TD said give it an 'anti-aerodynamic' look, which is against the point.
- The wings look to thin. In the movies and from pictures I've seen, they seem wider.
- The cockpit just looks awkward. I don't really see a way to fix it from the pictures though, sorry.
Here's some suggestions/what I like. - The gaps and cockpit seem unfixable to me.
- Extend the wings out a stud or two from where they are now.
- I love the smoothness of compared to TLC's rather 'stud-ly' design.
Thanks, and my critiquing may not be the best, so don't take it hard.

Re: V-wing
This looks really good Knight. It's an amazing remake.
But I think the inner 'wings' are too close to the astromech and too high over the ship.
But other than that, I like it!

Re: V-wing
I must say, I have never seen a V-wing constructed like this... Well done!

The landing gear is one of the few stable parts, and pulls out easy actually.

I would love to see them, to improve the faults on this one.

The width is far past minifig scale (should only be about 12 studs, it's 20 ), and the proportions would be messes up if I did that. Also, critiquing is great, without harsh critiquing no one would get better!

Re: V-wing
This looks really good! However, there are two things I don't like terribly well: The gaps in the cockpit, which I wouldn't think would be able to be fixed without completely changing it, and the wings. The things they're mounted on are slanted, but I think they're supposed to be horizontal. The rest of it, however, looks really great! I love the lack of studs on it (I always try to have a few studs as possible on MOCs).

Yes, the wings should be horizontal. I'm not happy with that or the cockpit either, but there wasn't much I could do. The cockpit was redesigned about 7 or 8 times, and this was the best of 'em all. I also go for studless MOC's, much more realistc.
