Saw it on eBay, nice job! Could use leg and arms decals though...
I like the custom pieces!

First of all isn't this suppose to be in the Mini-figure section and second of all whats with the colored text? Not trying to be a mini-mode here just semi-annoying, other then that of course the figure doesn't seem that special. You just gave it a blaster and modified the visor a bit.

Ohhh Darman, you have much to learn young one.
First off the colored text is a little showmanship to highlight the colors of the minifig in question.
I think you were upset because you spent about 5 minutes clicking the colored text waiting for a link. Much like the sad little man that stood at the pulling front door trying to push it in.
The figure isn't that special you say. Well I guess you would know because, well because.... Uhhh, why would you know. Can't seem to find much of your work on here.
Finally the comment that smacks of the most ignorance. that I "....modified the visor a bit". Well since you reached I guess I must teach.
That modified visor is a color cast. That means that I made a seamless mold out of silicone using pressure for a seamless negative. Then I experiemented with orange dyes to find the correct color for our, and we can say it, fine custom minifigure. Then color cast a seamless perfect version of a Lego visor in orange. Again I said cast, no paint, no sharpie, no drugstore fixes. Real mans work.
Any further comments.

Heh heh. Sorry Darman, but I just threw part of this into my signature.
But anywho, most purists wouldn't know how frustrating it is to customize a minifigure without having it end up as total BS.

Re: Commander Cody by The Clone Factory
I really have no rebuttal against that to be completely honest. I'll admit I under-exaggerated a lot, the visor is spectacular judging from the way you've made it and the time you put into it its just that the rest of the figure isn't exactly up to par with well the rest of the figure. It seems you put so much effort into this one part of it then completely ignored the rest, that was the point I was trying to make but failed to put in words previously.

Re: Commander Cody by The Clone Factory
Clone Factory has a different style than some other customizers. He chooses to make the figure able to blend in with regular LEGO, so he doesn't go over-board with detail, just polishes up the figure. It looks simple, nice and clean and still has an edge to a regular figure.
Re: Commander Cody by The Clone Factory
Not to be a mini mod too guys, but clone factory, you forgot the 5 word minimum rule. Try to fix that before Rook wakes up in the morning.
Nice job on the figure. Looks really nice.

Re: Commander Cody by The Clone Factory
Nice visor, but I wonder if it would look better if the attachments were attached to AL's version.
Re: Commander Cody by The Clone Factory
I agree with Zepher, I like Clonefactory's style the best. The way it blends in is amazing, yet while keeping detail like on the visor.
I have one complaint, and it would make this epic win for me that I might buy one: It needs orange arms.

^Have to agree, if you are not going with decals, go with plain old orange lego arms.

An easy fix that is already sitting on my desk.
