M3A2 Half-Track T19 105 mm HMC 'Fighting Iron'
Why yes, this IS the definition of Armored Artillery.
One of my favourite vehicles of World War 2, The 'Carrier, Personnel Half-track M3' was produced by White Motor Company approximately 43000 times. This specific model however, models a 105 mm M1A2 Howitzer and armored plating.
Version four, If I recall correctly. My goal was to shorten it and make it less wide then the last model, but at the same time make it look good. I think I've succeeded. The front seat should fit two people, but I'm not sure if the height is up to par. Rolling tracks, opening doors and the front and back as well as a working winch and a removable Howitzer
Inspiration from RumRunner and Dunechaser.
The back, with an opening door
Closer look at the howitzer:
And the scale comparison:
Enjoy!

Nice job! I was wondering why you didnt continue trying to sell your designs. After visiting batisbricks.com I think you were charging toooo little for yours. It would make a great business to see some high quality vehicles.
Eh, great job here.

Wow! Now this is real WWII Lego.
It looks like the real thing, what else is there to say?
If I had the rights, I would front page this.

Thanks all! I'm actually suprised by the feedback this is getting.
Yeah, I don't have any of those bricks with studs on all sides in dark bleyPizzaMovies wrote:I spot a mixing of grays... -.-

I charged little cause I wanted people to buy my stuff. A higher price tag turns people off. I stopped doing it though cause I was too lazy to make instructions, and don't have the kind of money to order the pieces from bricklink for several models to sell. If you'd like to do some sorta colab where I make the design and you make the instructions + sell the kits, fine by me.eclipsegrafx wrote:Nice job! Re: M3A2 Half-Track T19 105 mm HMC 'Fighting Iron'
This is just wonderful! I love the whole thing! The back door and compartment is really nice, and then when you factor in how awesome the cool the front is the the tilt... I am envious my friend! Keep up the good work!
M3A2 Half Track
Awesome Half Track! love the greebles on the 105mm Howitzer. Truly Amazing! Why not try building Aircraft? like a 352nd FG P-51D Mustang, P-47D Thunderbolt, Me-109, Focke-Wulf FW-190, Hawker Typhoon and Spitfire?

This is amazing. Try a star wars variant for the clone army. That would look cool indefinitely.
Re: M3A2 Half-Track T19 105 mm HMC 'Fighting Iron'
Great job. The section were the double-clip holds the 2 by 1 tile that runs over the tire is ingenious.

Thanks all!
I'm not quite sure. It should be able to fit one, unless the cabin is too low.Troopa Daisy wrote:Looking good.
