Purist Sith - Jecko Marth
I've been experimenting with purist mini-figures, I made a simple, yet cool Sith. I was also tired of the same Lightsaber blade, so I tried making my own. I also don't have many flesh heads, so I had to use the clone one. Tell me what you think!

I think that's a clone's head. Very cool posing, and the saber is simple, yet effective.
Re: Purist Sith - Jecko Marth
Yep that's a clone head, and that's coming from a guy who makes clones for a living.
Even for being purist, I like this one. Great combination of parts; makes it look like a real star wars character.

For a purist attempt, this is good. One thing I would try to work around around though is how short the saber blade is compared to the handle... It just seems odd.

This guy looks pretty cool. Simple is sometimes better then over doing a fig with custom stuff.

Thank you Captain Obvious.
I did see the the blade was a bit big, any suggestions on what pieces to use?
Re: Purist Sith - Jecko Marth
Don't know if you have tried the other technic pin? Half that size? Nice figure. The clone head goes well with it and it reminds me of 667th legion's avatar.
Re: Purist Sith - Jecko Marth
Thanks! Especially coming from a master minifigure maker! I will see if I have those and i'll update it if I do!
Re: Purist Sith - Jecko Marth
You could just go all out and make a Lightstaff or double bladed saber? Just a suggestion.

Purist minifigs are hard to make, but even being semi-purist I still put on stickers on my figures. I use sticker paper, and not decals and it is easy to take them off if needed. I am not saying that you need stickers here, but simply that it is still possible to make minifigs with unique bodies and still be purist.
