421st Defence
I haven't posted a vignette in forever, especially a Star Wars themed one. Quick build, took around 15 minutes.
Usual CW backstory...421st Legion defending planet 'blah' against hostile forces...

The backstory is so well written, and yet so true!

Other then the fact that it's a bit small, it's pretty good. I like the purple arms since you don't see them very often.

I'm liking that "hole" on the right side where that guy is sticking his gun through I think that's a good idea using the 1x1 clip holding a tile.
Re: 421st Defence
Wow, this is pretty good for a 15 minute MOC. I like the greebling, and I wouldn't mind some advice on greebling myself...
Re: 421st Defence
Lots of it, but not too much, A.K.A. don't cover the whole MOC with greebles. Make it random. Make it dark bley or black, (best colors) certain other colors could work too.212th wickedskillz wrote:Wow, this is pretty good for a 15 minute MOC. On the other hand, I agree with TD, nice job on the sniper-ish guy.

I agree that the back story is excellent .
Anyway, the MOC is great, the greebles are really good .

Re: 421st Defence
Meh, there's not much here... It looks like you just got a plate, and added those greeble pieces everywhere. Then, from this pic, it looks like there's none behind the walls. Then there are just the clones basically standing there or walking. It could be a start to something, but right now... It's not much.

Re: 421st Defence
I am liking this. Alot of great geebling. The purple really does make this all go together. Great job and you might want to add some more stuff right behind the wall. Like some crates.

Like I said, 15 minute build, not much thought put into it. Greebles have always been easy to do for me, so I tend to use them when I can't think of anything else. Maybe I'll build a bunch of these and put them together...

There actually are a couple of crates next to the trooper on the left...unfortunately you can't make them out in the photo. There's also a couple of guns behind the wall to the right as well.

Re: 421st Defence
This is nice for a quick 15 minute moc! I love the trooper with heavy, rotating blaster! My only nit-pick would be that the first 2 studs across the plate seem a bit over-greebled.

Add a large(ish) building that's run down then. That would look very nice IMO.

So I see... disregard my earlier message then. /quote]
