457th - Mission 1.3: Liberating Bakura
*Transmission* 707th: There is a main bridge which connects the Capitol building to the rest of the city. Droid forces are marching through this link of bridges and are invading the buildings, killing any living organism. These bridges are held up by giant pillars. Take at least one of them out with Thermal Detonation packs, and the explosion will rock the link and cause all the pillars to fall like dominoes. */Transmission*
I hope you enjoy it!
EDIT: Credit for the DC-15A Blaster Rifles goes to Knight.
Over-lighting FTL.
Pillar is pretty 'meh to me because of that big-@$$ piece that came with the TIE Fighter, I didn't have enough of those gray 4x4 circles.
Ground could have had more layering, but I was using ma tan for another MOC. :>
Thanks!

Battle droids are so not bright. Anyway, I like it, though, you're right that the ground needs more layering.

I like this MOC. The pillar supporting the bridge is genius! The overall setup is nice. The only thing I don't like is that the clone is floating. All jokes aside, I really can't find any major reasons not to like this MOC.
Good Job

I like this MOC too. It is really nice and the pillars are killer. My only meh about it is the top floor. I do think that the floor plates allow for more light on the bottom and give it that factory look but it bugs me for some reason.

I was thinking of tiling up instead of having those industrial plates, but I decided to stick with them. Maybe I should've stuck with the tiles, and that might have solved the problem. Thanks!eclipsegrafx wrote:I like this MOC too. It is really nice and the pillars are killer. My only meh about it is the top floor. Nah the grates work better then tiles or you could have put plates with grill tiles.
Re: 457th - Mission 1.3: Liberating Bakura
Man, to bad you are using tan for another project, layers would have made this MOC ace.
Edit: No credit for the DC-15's?
Edit 2: Now that's more like it.

Nice. Yeah, the ground does need more layering, too bad you don't have tan available... I am liking the pillar, it gives the MOC a nice look.
Re: 457th - Mission 1.3: Liberating Bakura
Maybe some more green would be nice. Some leafy bushes here and there and some moss on the pillar.

I loved both your missions, but where is 1.2? They are both very clever and inspire me to do something similar.

I'm liking the moss idea, but they wouldn't be able to fit on that small a pillar.Troopa Daisy wrote:Maybe some more green would be nice. Some leafy bushes here and there and some moss on the pillar.
Oh, I wan't able to build anything during that week, thus missed Mission 1.2.Lieutenant Spike wrote:I loved both your missions, but where is 1.2? They are both very clever and inspire me to do something similar.
