Drachaeo Tower

Built this all yesterday.

However, it was very hard to photograph.












Now I can be refered to as a mediocre builder instead of a bad one.

Each level can be taken off and put on again due to a tile system. I had a picture of it, but it came out blurry.

I think that the base of the tower is to square and should have at least been rounded at the top. But I do like the extensions off the sides and the fact that it is playable.

I like it. Very clean and not TOO simple. Nice job. My symmetry nit-pick... The cheese slopes... I would have preferred it to start and end on the same color. I know that the amount of studs wide wouldn't allow it to alternate evenly (or odd) but what you can do is make the center 2 the same color so it basically mirrors one half.

@Spike: I get what you're saying, but you try building a round four story lego tower.

@Eclipse: I also see what you're saying about the cheese slopes. However, to make it start and end on the same color would mean it had an odd number of studs across. Which is something beyond my skill. Ah, ok. Consider it done.

I actually really like this. It's all smooth and stuff and doesn't require many special pieces to build but it still looks really good. I suggest adding a door at the front though, that would make it look even better IMO.

Well, my nitpick is that the plaforms on the side look a bit flimsy to me. You can add some bulk by putting a few inverted slopes on the bottom.

Great tower! Though you have come through the 'grey wall syndrome'. Maybe add more pizazz to the walls, like different colors and textures. Other than that, just plain awesome

Might I suggest a really nice base. It would attract more visitors. I am not sure how old you where trying to make this, but it would look much nicer if you mixed more grey colors in with the wall. Well, really nice, and might have to switch gears and build some castle MOC's.

Very nice. Your castle stuff gets bigger and better everytime you build.

I still think you should add some sort of scene the builds though.

I really like the way that the final gray portion rises out of the red roof, it flows very nicely!

This is so smooth, it's like a chocolate swirl! But anyways, the red roofing is superb and the balcony is a nice touch.

Very nice job on this 1 Mil. Add up what everyone else has said, that'd be my comment. All around good-looking build, inside and out.

Oh, thanks guys! I worked really hard on this and I'm quite proud of it. This is probably my best MOC.

I agree with axel, a few inverted slopes beneath the platforms would add a more relistic look. Otherwise, they just look too flimsy.
