On Patrol (Updated with V2.0)
A two man group of USMC Marines and their Battle Bot are on patrol in a deserted jungle village. Knowing that the enemy in near they are tasked with checking on the SAM batteries, with out allowing the enemy to know where they are.
Just a quick little MOC I worked on over Christmas break. I wanted to get back into the MOCing grove and this helped. Its simple, nice and rather pleasing to the eye. This MOC took about 2-3 days to make and is one of my favorite ever made. I mostly made this for two reason: 1) To get back into MOCing and 2) To give you guys something to look at while I complete my other MOCs. Enjoy

Ah the dirt texture. Maybe add a bit contours to the dirt and add a few 1x1 slopes or tiles to break up the "stud-y-ness" of the dirt.
Edit:
1. Yellow Lines: Currently shows the "naked area".
2. Green Lines: Increase the height of the area to the outside of the green lines by 1 to 2 plates giving you more of a "path".
3. Red Circles: Move 1x1 slopes to edges of contours. This allows them to blend and still add texture.
4. Blue Circles: Toss in a couple 1x1 rounds or some loose stone texture and BAM! Done.

This is a nice little MOC, but I suggest you make the path look more like a path.

Rook, you always make me happy with your edited pictures.
But this is actually a pretty nice build. Although it needs more elevation in areas.

Nice update. It looks sufficiently better now, and definately more overgrown.
