Castles: Persian and Classic!

Alright, considering this is a star wars forum I swear I'll post some of my clone wars creation soon. (once I take pictures of them )
But that aside, here's two Castle-ish creations I made over the weekend. Although there are many points that I can improve on, which I have realized, but I think its a decent start.

First off we got a total castle creation which involves the steryo-typical "Royals have all the money through taxes so forestman steal it and the villagers are greatful"
But here's my little backstory:
To get the guards away from the tax money so their comrades can steal it, Thomas and Buck cause a distraction. Running though the city streets with the guards in pursuit, they get some help from the opressed villagers.



And to kill two sticks with one bird, here's another....Except this ones Prince of Persia!

Basically I haven't really come up with a backstory yet but the basic plot is that some person (Guy runing across the railing) Has done something against the rules of society, and thus gets chased by the prince and Babylon guards.



As you can see I've got some obsession with chase scenes, or maybe its a sign I better go get my running shoes..

We always enjoy a non Star Wars creation for a change. Sort of livens the place up a bit. I am really liking "Babylon Chase". The whole thing is really well done. Might I suggest, on both of the scenes, to add more detail on the ground? Even though it is in side the castles, it could use more outdoor looking stuff. But not to the extent that it has to much stuff. Pebbles, and tiles would be good to. The amount of figures put into the MOC's gives it a great touch and livens the place up alot. I also like the use of the one way traffic. Does not get the viewers confused.

Lol, I was debating whether to put DP in a barrel, or you fishing. But hey, maybe someday in the future a friendly MOC off would be cool!
Anyways I'll be sure to take you advice while i'm working on my next creation!

I just don't know what I'm doing on top of this castle building. I know my memory is foggy from the 90's, but I'd think I'd remember this stuff in the morning.

Excellent renditions of both genras of castle building! It's not all the time we can compare excellent models side by side. I really like the archway and the battlements you've done on your classic dio!

Wow very nice castles! I like the use of the vine sticker on the side of the castle wall.

I know what you mean, remembering the 14th century can be difficult sometimes, expecially when one goes about falling off of roofs

Thanks, and Assassins Creed definatly sneeked in and influenced some of these buildings.

Nice work! I like these, even though I prefer WW2 and Star Wars MOC's.
