Last Gasp
I hope this is the right area for this. I haven't been around for a while; I haven't posted a lot of creations in a while either. So I thought I'd post this. It's simple, but I really liked it. It's for the SSC.
Look! No clear studs, there is also no glue, or fishing wire. What is this lego voodoo!
The fig's and vig, by themselves.
Vice:
Trooper:
As Vice wrenches his bio-organic arm at the trooper, the trooper just thinks..."How can you feel nothing?"
Vice: "I feel no remorse, no sorrow, and feeling for what I do. I will use my limitless power as I please."
I hope you like it.
Any C&C always welcome.

What's with the MMCB?
Otherwise, this looks great! Love the Sith, and the vig is nice and clean.

Re: Last Gasp
I thought the pauldron matched the fig well. So that's why.
T_C_O: How do you think i did it?

Re: Last Gasp
Nice figures. Also, the darkness of the base suits the scene well. I love your Sith fig a lot, vey cool.
Re: Last Gasp
Nice job on like, the whole thing.
P.S. how do you make the rebel "float"

Re: Last Gasp
I actually really like the backpack used on the rebel minifigure but I think a side pauldron would fit the figure better than the regular pauldron.
Re: Last Gasp
I might reveal the secret to making the rebel float if enough people are asking. And troopa I was thinking about that too. But I thought this pauldron looked better for the scheme.
Re: Last Gasp
If enough people ask huh. Well I make two. How do you make the reble float? Are you using a non lego item to make him float like clay?

Nope, it is actually lego.
Re: Last Gasp
Since you said that, how exactly did you make the rebel float? I THINK I know, but I am not yet sure...I might reveal the secret to making the rebel float if enough people are asking.
Re: Last Gasp
Alright. I'll tell you guys in case you want to use it in your builds. It's one of those clip pieces and those plates that can fit over a figs neck. You just have to slide the figs hand across and onto the clip.

He is saying to grab one of those pieces that goes over a minifigure neck and stick it on a mini fig. Then you grab one of the hooks that looks like a Y and place it in the hole on. The mini fig neck piece. Then you simply have another min hold the hook. Is that right ?
Re: Last Gasp
Excellent use of the backpack piece on the front of the minifigure. It also elongates the neck making him look even more like he’s being held by the throat and the weight of his body is pulling away from his head.
Re: Last Gasp
I still dont under stand,
sorry, but I dont really under stand what a "hook piece" is.

Re: Last Gasp
No it's like...you know one of those tiles with the link pieces that you can click rods and stuff onto.
Re: Last Gasp
I understand what you did with the hook bit, but maybe you should take a picture for those who are still unsure?
Re: Last Gasp
Is it a hook piece or a tile with a link piece??

Re: Last Gasp
Its just a tile with a link, its not like a hook or something too terribly complicated.
Re: Last Gasp
I might be bumping but I'm not sure, but really you should take a picture of the effect so its easier that explaining it.

Bumping is posting after 2 weeks. The last post was 4 days ago. And, yes, a picture would be better.
