A Minor Setback on Tri'Slek
Here I am again, this time posting an actual "Clone Wars" creation.
This is kind of a first time for me, building this genre at this scale. Without further ranting......Volia!
Here's the Backstory:
We successfully infiltrated a Seperatist, just to be stopped by a malfunctioning door. General Treym was taking up the rear when suddenly the door closed, seperating us from him. Treym called out from the otherside telling us that the control panel would not work. I could hear his lightsaber ignite as he told us to stay back. Suddenly his blade sliced through the door. As he started cutting away, a patrol of B1's came marching through. We made quick work of them, hoping no more would notice their absence.
I wanted to make it seem like perhaps the Speratists were poluting the area, hence the gooey drippy polution.

Here we have the trapped Jedi cutting the hole through the door, like jedi do. I'll definatly try something like this again, improving on it.
Well hope you enjoy, next time I'll improve some techiques and try others.

Agreed. Love this. I especailly like the Jedi cutting a hole in the wall.
Re: A Minor Setback on Tri'Slek
Fantastic! The wall being cut, the stairs, everything is excellent. My only nitpick it the exposed technic holes, but that's very minor.

I really like how the balcony (and the detailing on the balcony!) has been built on top of some sort of mountain and it looks pretty natural. The stairs and back wall have been finished nicely too!
Re: A Minor Setback on Tri'Slek
Defiantly MOC of the month. This is one of the best MOCs I've ever seen!

MOC of the month! The polloution technique is great and the Jedi cutting through the wall is brilliant! Outstanding work!
Re: A Minor Setback on Tri'Slek
I love the lightsaber effect, although having the saber orange too is a little meh for me. Wonderful MOC altogether though!
Re: A Minor Setback on Tri'Slek

Re: A Minor Setback on Tri'Slek
I love it. This is the kind of MOC that inspires me. So thanks, I guess. Could you maybe post a pic on flickr about how you did the lightsaber-cutting-through-a-wall-part. I just don't get how you did it. If you haven't yet taken it apart that is.
