I've tried and have been unsuccessful every time doing it and my great plan for my corps ship will look very unattractive without SNOT. So if anyone has a good reference for me that would be great. Once again I'm terribly sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong area.
Let me Google that for you.

I see where you're going but check this out: "Keeper of Desperation" made by Sabarrus and on Flickr Fliplit's Bristol plane. That kinda stuff is the SNOT I need for my star craft but I still don't know how they do it...

Part of being a Lego enthusist is being able to look at a creation and dissect it. Look at Keeper of Desperation and see what parts you can identify and try and rebuild portions of it if you need to. When I view it I see a layer of tiles on top of plates and in the one close up shot of the cannon I see 2 1x1 clips and a some 1x2 plates with a bar. I know that those pieces will allow to create angles, so that is probably how he gets most of his angled areas in the front. The rear is simple snot of bricks on their sides with a few other common hinges.
You could always try asking the person too.
Anyways, this is just a welcome topic that has gone on long enough.
