Custom ARC Trooper

So this has been in the works for about three weeks. The pauldron is made of strong craft paper and the kama is made from Lego's
Asajj Ventress skirt with the front cut off. The helmet is the older Ep. III version with an added fin and the sides sanded down. The paint has some rough edges because the tape I used wasn't real great. The rangefinder can move as well. The rifle is of my own custom design.

Yes, I made it out of thick craft paper that my mom uses for scrapbooking or something.

I found the basic template on google and edited it some, so I'm not real sure who designed it.

Nice ARC trooper you got there, I really like the design of the pauldron and the usage of the ventress skirt. Much better than any of my attempts. How did you make the rifle?

The rifle is a standard Lego Star Wars with the scope shaved off. Then I put a Lego clone floodlight on the black technic connecter piece using the little thing that connects it to the helmet. If you or anyone else uses the design, just give me credit.

The rifle looks really good. But maybe cut the kama a bit it looks a bit low. And the paint on the helmet could be slightly neater...

Great job, the only thing that sort of bugs me is the kama. It just doesn't seem right. Otherwise, awesome job!

I did shorten the kama a bit after I took the pictures because I thought it looked odd too.

@-TD: As I said in the original post, the tape I used wasn't very good and the edges had paint bleed.

Please could you help me, could you tell me how you made the box thing on his pauldron.

I guess just folded paper, I could be wrong though.

Yes, you would be wrong. I basically used this template and just moved the box to the other side.

Did you laminate the paper pauldron? It would make it much stronger.

No, I didn't laminate it because I don't own a laminator. The pauldron is made out of thick paper and holds up pretty well unless it gets wet or I crush it. Neither of which have happend.
