Marine Fireteam

So, I'm back.
Some of you may have already seen it on flickr, and now I've decided to post it here.
It's a four-man fireteam and the guys are a bit based on Operation Flashpoint: Red River.
I also tried giving them a bit of a personality, and it would be nice to hear if it is okay.
Everything is handpainted, guns and helmets are by BrickArms, vests, the sniper's helmet and googles are by Minifig.Cat and E-tape kneepad/holster and goggle attachment ideas are by Shobrick.
MG ammo box is custom by me, as are the ammo puches (you can take them off, like Brickforge's). The AT4 is based on a BA bazooka.

Gunner/Squad leader (Bobby)

He's always been a good leader, so one day, he's been promoted to sargeant. Since then, he leads the team.
An Iraq war veteran, he knows the desert and all its tricks.
He's not the guy to leave someone behind. Not since that incident during Desert Storm...



Grenadier (Johnson)

The team's badass. He's the guy for jumping on a tank, throwing a grenade in it and then watching the spectacle from nearby.
He always had a thing for blowing things up, so after blowing up the chemistry tract at university, he decided to join the Marines to make his hobby his job.


Autogunner (Frankie)

He's the silent guy on the team. And also the oldest. But he's still got a thing for heavy weaponry, and he lets the enemy feel it.
He got his callsign by his sargeant at military school, but noone knows why.
And he never says it.


Sniper (Book)

The team's joker. Saving their a$$ when things get dangerous. But he's always waiting for the last moment.
He got his callsign when the others found out that he was writing a book.

Awesome dude, those are some really nice figs you got there. Although the sniper could use some camo on his chest armor that's about it.

Your painting talent is superb! I mean WOW from when I first saw these on flickr. Incredible job.

I have to say, this is pretty amazing. I like the ghillie suit. I also like the way the personalities aren't cliche. Normally the joker is the heavy weapons guy, the silent guy is the sniper, and the bad *** is... well the badass. I am completely blown away.

AMA-ZING! Love the desert camo and the nice detail on the armor and weapons. Like a crazy gamer I am, I wish I can recreate some real soldiers in LEGO, but sucks for me I have several AP classes do deal with...
