FBTB Contest Entry (MOC MADNESS II)
MOC Madness II!
Eternal Dusk
Eternal Dusk
Inca Ter’
The most feared bounty hunter in the quadrant. If you want your bounty alive to torture them yourself, Inca Ter’ is the best, but he will cost you. Inca Ter’ carries a long range sniper riffle loaded with enough tranquilizers to knock out a gundark for a week. For close combat he prefers to use his great grandfather’s tribal spear as a bow staff.
San’Piper
Inca Ter’s sidekick is known simply as San’Piper. Her weapon of choice is a high power double barreled tranquilizing compound cross bow, as silent as clear night’s breeze. She also carries a double barreled over under repeating blaster for when “alive” is no longer an option.
The Bounty
Some poor schmuck that is probably about spend the last days of his life in a lot of pain. Just be glad it’s not you… this time.
The Ship
Eternal Dusk is armed with an array of forward baring armaments stolen from a dozen species in primary wings. The primary wings also house 4 maneuvering sub-light engines. The rear wings house massive sub-light engines slightly over sized for this ship making her a rocky ride but faster then her prey and two small sleeping quarters. The Eternal Dusk boasts a quad barreled laser turret on her dorsal tail. The main cargo hold is equipped with cryogenic chamber. The aft cargo bay houses the maintenance access to the hyper-drive engine.

I just gave up.
Really love the ship rook, I have a TBB feeling about this!

Whoa, this is fantastic Rook. What I find most interesting is all the interior detailing, really spot on!
I better step it up with my entry.

Excellent design. I really enjoy the grille bricks on the wings for a variety in texture. Also the brown pin striping and the use of the droid heads is awesome. I wouldn't be surprised to see your crossbow design start popping up all over the place.

Hopefully I'll get the votes too. I'd love the SSD but a FBTB t-shirt would be pretty frakking cool.

Don't give up! Trying = Learning = Winning!

For sure. I'd love to battle you for 1st place!
Re: FBTB Contest Entry (MOC MADNESS II)
Uploading this up on FBTB will decrease the amount of entries. Enough said.

Yeah, I reacted the same way. Godly as ever, Rook.

Agreed. Sometimes I just go see stuff in a contest and I'm like, "How am I supposed to beat that?"
Btw that brick built crossbow is awesome.

My quote would be "I can beat that".

Damn you Rook. How am I suppose to compete against this awesome thing?
Re: FBTB Contest Entry (MOC MADNESS II)
Rook, you've really done it this time... I just love this thing! Now your only real competition is Legoboy12345678. Goodluck.

You're not, you're suppose to be making sure I get 1st by winning 2nd for yourself!

So true now I could only find a way to create as may posts as him with being nuked. Really!? Has Solo gone soft? I'm afraid to post on FBTB half the time for fear of being eaten alive.
Re: FBTB Contest Entry (MOC MADNESS II)
I'm liking the cockpit and the angle of the ship you added in the middle. Also that crossbow looks fantastic!

Re: FBTB Contest Entry (MOC MADNESS II)
The hardest part about this finding the right (90*) angled triangles to support the weight of the ship. I went with a 5x12x13 fives times, once with each wing and once with the head of the ship. But you may notice it's not actually 5x12x13 anywhere. Trust me it was not easy! I spent about 2-3 days on the frame. And then 3-4 days on the wings. Then a week on the body of the ship. Then I took of a week until got around to shooting it.
Well doesn't look like I'm going to front paged @ TBB with it. Back to the drawing board.

Re: FBTB Contest Entry (MOC MADNESS II)
Ah women! So many women are under the false perception that they are superior to men. When in fact they are equal but in uniquely different ways. So I warned my wife, “This model is a display model. It is not the same as my other models. It can’t be tossed around with only a piece or two falling off.” To which she promptly walked over to it to inspect it and accidently kicked it with her foot as she sat down next to it. I was able to laugh and not kill her, because this is why you take pictures of ALL of your MOCs before you share them with friends, family, and other loved ones. Non-builders don’t understand the complexity and difficulty in creating these models and women although they use same words as men, DO NOT speak the same language. XD
Re: FBTB Contest Entry (MOC MADNESS II)
Congrats on staying calm, I wouldn't!
No chance of rebuilding it then?

Re: FBTB Contest Entry (MOC MADNESS II)
Don't really need to. But thought I'd share my pain. It'll sit there until I need the pieces or until I have house guests and shred it or rebuild it.
Re: FBTB Contest Entry (MOC MADNESS II)
Tough luck! Surprising it didn't shatter more! Any pieces torqued enough to snap?
