BrickIt: Brick Sorter
I haven't got into the Mindstorm stuff yet, mainly because of cost but this just makes me want it more!

Re: BrickIt
That. Is. Amazing. That would be so freaking useful! It's like an actual factory.

Ahh, the use of Lego to sort other Lego. Brilliant.
When I was a lad, we still had to sort them by hand and I remember that like it was only yesterday.

Re: BrickIt
My mum and I spent around six weeks a few years ago sorting the Lego into boxes of different colours. I wish I had one of those then !
Re: BrickIt
Man the the skill it would take to build that! It took me about a month to sort my Lego; and I've still got a ways to go.
I wonder how it can tell how to sort the colors?

One of the Mindstorm robot kits come with a color sensor that can see black, white, red, green, and blue.

Re: BrickIt
I love this thing too bad its limited. Would be a useful product on the market.
I had some fun with mindstorm down at Brickfair Alabama. There were some huge floor board games that were probably 21 chairs wide and long.
