Railway Viaduct WIP

This is going to be one of my biggest and best builds (I hope!), and it is going to be WWII.

British troops planting explosives on a German railway viaduct.



The dark bley is going to be replaced with dark red, and the light bley is going to be replaced with dark bley. There's also going to be a hill on the ground.

Well, it's not much now, but with time and devotion, this can really turn out great!

Not sure about the Dark red idea, and maybe some inverted slopes on the bottome would look good.

I think he means to make a "Brick" bridge like on houses, but I have to agree on the inverted slopes. Those could be ordered in dark red OR you could add a Dark Bley Bridge with Dark red stripe or details so the cornered off slopes don't mess the flow up.

Yes, Dk. Red stripes would look good, but not entirely dk red.

The bases of the arches are going to be dark bley, but the rest is going to be dark red to make it look like red brick. There will be stripes of dark bley. I made a BL order of 85 dark red bricks .

I look forward to the end result. For the arches, don't forget inverted slopes.

Ah, I see, maybe for that you could ahve used some headlight bricks with some 1x2 tiles.

I was going to do that, but it looks a little weird: The bricks in one layer look like one big brick because the is no gap in between them and if you make a gap in between them they cannot overlap the bricks beneath, unless you use 1x3 tiles, which you can't get.

Ah, I see, either way thouhgh, it should look good! How are you planning on doing the tracks BTW? Are you giong to use Lego's molded ones or brick built?

I'm doing brick built at the top.

This arrived yesterday, it is all the parts I needed to finish off my viaduct. The Internet was down yesterday so I didn't get to post this, but I wasn't playing Minecraft, so I could finish off the MOC!!
