AT-RT
One of my first online MOCs ever, and my first Star-Wars one at that. Made in 2005, so don't be too harsh on how it isn't up to par with my current MOCs.
Take note of how strong the legs are compared to those of the official AT-RT.
Apologies for the non-clone minifig.

It's good and all, but I don't really like the split toes.

Re: AT-RT
Are you kidding! This is awesome!!
I know it's kinda late to criticize since you probably scrapped this... but I am gonna give some to you anyway!!
I think the legs are a tad thin, an it needs some more color besides light grey.
I love everything else though! The cockpit is ingenious, the doors and the back are incredible!!
The mid section is cool too!

Re: AT-RT
Heh, I remember this. The cockpit is great, but I was never a fan of the legs. Truth be told, they look over-greebled. The feet are nice and intricate though...
Re: AT-RT
Wow thats so amazing that it blows lego's away.

Re: AT-RT
I don't like the doors, but other than that it's great. Maybe some more color would be nice too. The legs are fantastic, completely disagree with J4ke. the size differeence is great too, bulk on the top to small on the bottom. It's funny how much more detail you got into this compared to lego's, while still holding the same size! I've already seen it (being a Staff/Council member) but never got to say anything, so great job!
Re: AT-RT
I totally love how you made the legs, but I don't really like the head. Make sure that you look at a refrence pic of the ship you're mocing first, thats what we sculpters do.

The door pieces do not function as doors on the model. They are at an angle, and are part of the frontal armor.

Re: AT-RT
I happen to think the doors are really clever....
And you sure have alot of nice pieces in light grey!!!

DON'T try to be smart. Greebles are good in certain places at certain times. You CAN over-greeble, so shush.
Re: AT-RT
Sheesh it was just a joke...
I just meant you usually are telling people to add greebles....
And I agree with you on that.... it was just a joke...

Well we all have our own opinions, though the legs look a bit over-greebled, they're still nice.

The feet are not really as they should be, but it's a cool MOC.

Re: AT-RT
Yes I think they feet are inaccurate... but all in all pretty good seeing as you didn't use any source material!
Re: AT-RT
Wow! For a new member, this is amazing! I really like all the greebs, and the toes.

Re: AT-RT
Well, aside from this being greeble city(good LORD man! ) it's got more ups than downs in my humble opinion(and I DO understand you not having a reference pic).
The big door should be replaced with a small door and a 1x1 round cone brick underneath it. The legs should be thickened out and given more armor. The ankles should be a little ungreebled and the feet should be done with three of those cascading bricks. I'll post a Peeron link once I get one.
Aside from those points it's good seeing as it's all light grey and it's an AT-RT.
But let's see some of your finer works, eh? You CAN post non-clone/non-SW creations in the Other Creations forum.

What is "for a new member" supposed to mean?

What it means.
He clearly hasn't previously been exposed to your work, and must not have expected you to be as awesome as you are.

Yes... Aki is confined only to the limited wonders of Brickshelf and MOCpages.... he has yet to see the FULL POWER OF FLICKR!!!!
Re: AT-RT
I think photobucket is better than Flickr because you don't need to pay for unlimited uploads!

While that is off-topic, I highly disagree. Flickr is much cleaner, and you can leave comments, notes, have groups, etc. Also, paying unlimited isn't that expensive.
