Very nice custom mold, and the movie looks great!

2 things though: It's Padawan and maybe its better if you would lay some pieces battle droid on the floor instead of there whole bodies standing agains a rock. Destroyed droids will fall down, you know. Wink

Ok thanks. I made the trailer first and brought it here for constructive criticism, so I know what to improve.

I think you need more frames, the motions just look so fake, you should try to make them look more realistic.

Agreed on that part. It looks like a slideshow.

If that red guy is a twi'lek.......No offense, but that looks kinda.....bad, I suggest buying a twi'lek head from arealight, if you have no other alternative. (I'm not trying to advertise.)

I agree, the front has to be a bit more bulkied up, but the back is just awesome! I won't buy any if I can make them like that!

It was really simple. All I did was had a minifig head, wrapped the clay around it, then rolled up two strips of clay and stuck it on. And if you don't want the head anymore, just start ripping at the bottom and it will come clean off, the head is not damaged one bit.

And if you like that paint job, you'd love the Bib Fortuna head. That is my favorite. (It will be in the movie too)

Alright, as the numero uno brickfilmer here, please don't get mad for me being a stickler for quality.

First of all, the frame rate sucked. You need to get stop motion software, such as Anasazi or MonkeyJam (if you search on Google, you can probably find it).

Secondly, make the animtion smooth. Don't take a picture then move the minifig ahead two studs. Actually animate the Padawan walking, or running, and usheathing the lightsaber.

Thirdly, if you can, use a special f/x program to make the saber look like it's activated.

Finally, I wish you luck with your film.

Alright, I'll try that. I've been using regular windows movie maker, probably not the best, but it was there, so I used it. Do you know any good programs to make lightsaber effects?

1. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT use Windows Movie Maker to edit your films. It's one of the crap video editing software out there.

2. It's possible with Axagon Composer (freeware). There is a tutorial on Smeagol's website.

Green Well 667, it wasn't the greatest but I think you got enough feed back on how to make things better. I still haven't even tried to do something like this. So keep it up and hopefully the heavy critics will have better things to say about the next one. Green
