The reason it has a black base is because it is supposed to be road.

I saw this over at Flickr and really thought, huh? Is this Aki? I could hardy imagine. It's bad. Really. The blood is both standard red and trans-clear, it should just be trans-clear. Also the blood is too straight and too much to be realistic. Also there are too much teethmarks. I recommend getting the Brick separator, it works great, even a little bit for tiles. You can get one for just a pound at your local Legoshop. I suggest taking some more time to make something. Sad

Not really. The killer wounded him, then cut off the head.

Aki, your MOC's, when they have blood, seem always to have waaaay to much in it. Like Gears of War amounts +. I suggest you tone it down a bit, and put a little more work into this particular vignette.

agreed.

I think what you should do is get those 1x1 tiles *trans. Red* and put them by a dead body *not to much unless like all there arms, heads, and legs are torn off*.

Guess I took the gore a bit to far. Don't blame me, blame Shadow Viking from Flickr! He uses waves of blood, and makes it look good.

Well some people use an overuse of blood and guts... but that's because they use creative pieces! Like snakes... and other stuff... Razz

Not bad Aki... needs more detail... but otherwise it isn't bad!

I find that the only good color for blood is trans red. But Sir Nadroj can use regular red and make it look good - I don't know how. And I usually only use a couple tiles (flat tiles are the best for blood) per person. Check this out:

It's much more effiecient and looks better. Picture was an exerpt from my battlefield comic #3.

Yeah... Nadroj uses those snake pieces for guts and is very skilled at using regular pieces...

He has a knack for making the odd pieces work very well...

Re: Post apoc Nuclear Winter

The whole post-apoc theme is so vibrant and full of endless possibilities. My take on it though would be, assuming it was a nuclear fallout winter, would be to see more gray. Nuclear war starts fires which creates ash, but also it decimates concrete and steal in buildings turning it to a fine pulp ash as well. When I eventually get around to the whole post-apoc scene I think I'll do something like that. Then again your take on the post-apoc winter could be years after the fallout and the earth finally started snowing?

Not your best work as others stated. I would suggest looking at Sir Nardoj's work. Fordo Yo!
