HMS Sabre

Awhile back I bought some LEGO from a friend of my brothers, at one time he had the Black Seas Barracuda, but had lost some of the pieces over time. So with my hopes of rebuilding the set dashed, I began to toy with idea of building a large warship for the British, since it seems that the good guys never get a large ship, while the pirates have these monster schooners and such. So the finished product I deemed, the HMS Sabre.

An overall view, the rigging on this ship is really tall, and was hard to get in the frame:


A view looking down the port side, this ship features six guns (And yes, I know there are a couple French guys on here too):

Nice ship! The pirates always get the big ships, so this is a good change!

Sorry Cfaie, I really like the French as well, but since I've been doing a lot of forts and stuff for them I thought I should be fair. Plus the sails are red. In any case expect to see a couple more large Warships, one for the Spanish, and I almost have enough to one for the French soon too.

Yup, that's right. Compare it to US or USSR on other nations' ships.


Anyway, that's a real beauty! You should clean it though.
