Post Apoc Customs
I finally had time to do some customs, so I spent what little time I had to make these. Just two post apoc weapons.
This was made using two Clone brand guns; a chrome revolver, and an assualt rifle. I cut off the front of the rifle, and sanded away the front of the revolvert, stuck them together, painted it a little and ended up with this. Did I mention that the barrel is chromed?
Now, this gunblade was made using official pieces. I sanded down the front of a revolver, cut off the handle and glued on a more slanted handle made from a light bley rod. A technic pin was sanded down to size, and a 4 by 1 tile was sanded down to make the blade. The sanded down tile was shaped into a blade and glued into the little gap in the technic piece. The handle and blade was glued together and painted silver and black. Yes it's somewhat messy, but it still looks cool, I think.
Doesn't he look fearsome?

Look what you did Axel! You know we're not supposed to do the (4,5) thing!
Looks good! Good too see you back to painting!

Whoa, when did that rule become abolished? Guess I haven't been paying enough attention!
Thanks!

Gun blade? Do you mean Final Fantasy that doesn't make any sense?
I mean where does the bullets come out from?
I like your work and all and this was good but why copy a weapon like that?

Re: Post Apoc Customs
Yeah, you must have worked pretty hard on that blade or whatever. How long did it take you?
Re: Post Apoc Customs
Hey Axel, any word when you are gonna start on your legion/or any awesome clones again???

I agree, to fit that in a lego figures hand must have taken awhile!
Dude, you just said similar things twice... stop spamming.

Because it looks cool. And it doesn't shoot bullets; if I remember correctly, the trigger causes a vibration to run down the blade to make attacks more potent.
Thunder-blade: I really don't know. I doubt that I'll have much time anymore, when I made these, it was a welcome break in my regular routine. I might make a single custom clone in the next month or so, but I don't have a definite answer.
As I've said before, the blade is just a 1 by 4 tile sanded down and cut into shape, then painted. I was going to paint a design onto the blade, but decided against it.

I agree, the fig does look kinda borderline Steam-Punkish-like. Still, the weapons are great!Jens wrote:The fig looks more like Steam-Punk
Anyways, great weapons!
