222nd Legion Chronicles: The Lost Boys
Greetings Guilders!
After lots of work on a new set and aquisition learning how to use the GIMP program, I am finally able to present to you...
222nd Legion Chronicles: The Lost Boys
If you haven't already, please read the previous four comics in this series before reading this one.
Now on to the Comic!
And that concludes the fifth comic in the 222nd Legion Chronicles. If you read the comic in it's entirety, you will probably have a good idea of what the next comic will be about. I hope you liked this newest installment in my Legion's Chronicles!
Comments and Constructive Criticism welcome.

Constructive criticisim: It's best of you desaturate the hologram BEFORE you make it blue, but it's ok. Nice work CC007!

Re: 222nd Legion Chronicles: The Lost Boys
That's another great comic! 2 things you should work on though:
The space you see through the bridge is WAY too busy, just stars are enough.
You have P1's fighter and the commanders are P2? Odd.

No...The only Phase I troopers there are in the Comic are the ones from the 9th Cavalry Regiment that were lost after the Battle of Geonosis. They are all Phase 1's because they were lost before Phase II armor was invented. Everyone else is Phase II.DarthPineapple wrote:You have P1's fighter and the commanders are P2? Odd.

Yea, all of the Phase I's in the pictures are the 9th Cavalry Division. Sorry if that was confusing. You don't really know they're Cavalry because you don't see them with any tanks in this episode! But that will change...

Brilliant idea!

Re: 222nd Legion Chronicles: The Lost Boys
Only one problem... one year (and a half)? For a ship? They would of had to have run out of troops before then.
Awesome work! Very cool scene. Battle was very well handled! I advize lego blood, but over all fantastic!

I love this comic! I really like the idea of them battling over a ship over a year and then they come back in phase.

Nicely done, CC. The Phase 1 9th Cavalry was great! That's a danged nice idea that the CIS invaded venator!
Re: 222nd Legion Chronicles: The Lost Boys
Yea, to all: Jen's modded troopers inspired me to make my Combat Engineer.Jens wrote:I love this comic! I really like the idea of them battling over a ship over a year and then they come back in phase.

Also, the 9th Cavalry's ship was an Acclamator. They didn't have Venators used that early in the Clone Wars when they departed. Also, though Acclamators can hold 16,000 troopers, a Regiment is just over 2,000, so there was plenty of supplies/consumables/quarters, etc.
The technique the CIS used to board was pull it out of hyperspace near the moon with a CIS interdictor cruiser, board on one side of the ship in a hangar, and swarm the ship. The Acclamator was divided in two parts lengthwise during most of the first year, the Trandoshan led Battle Droids controlling the left side of the ship, with the 9th Cavalry controlling the right side of the ship. After months and months of small lightning raids into enemy compartments on the other side of the ship by both sides, the Republic finally started capturing several compartments per day. Though the progress was slow, it was steady, and over the period of half a year, the entire ship was re-captured. The Bridge was the last part held by the CIS, and the assault on the bridge was shown in this comic.
Here's a picture for you to grasp the size of the ship with all of the compartments in it:

I think the story line is very creative and also the MOCs are great ( I`m gonna try that idea for Trandos ).
