Air Speeder.

Ok so here is my air speeder I was going to enter for the heck of it, but I wasn't able to finish it in time.

Specs:

Size: 9 meters long.
Speed: 200 KPH
Capacity: 2 Lifeforms
Speed Booster: One R2 unit was implanted in the forward engine to boost the speed.











Ok so I know this is crappy ect but this is what I made. I couldn't find any of my greebling pieces for some reason. I think I put them somewhere "safe and easy to remember". I really made just because the design for the sides came to me and I thought it was a good one. I'll put the pics on flickr soon.

It's very studdy on the sides, but the top area has some good angling/contour. The R2 area needs some serious greebling, though.

Meh, I agree with 80-0, the back is nice, though.

I know I agree with both of you. I mainly made this cause I liked the design on the side, the way it is slopped. Other then that I didn't care for it but thought I would share it anyways. I am going to make 2 more different airspeeders. Hopefully I will able to either make the side smooth or greeble it alot. Same for where the droid is.

Ok, time for a rant.

A greeble is just another word for detail. Do not say Greeble as if only a few pieces fit that criteria. Almost all pieces can be used to make detail/greebs. There are a few common ones but that's no excuse for having "greeble pieces" ...

Unless that's all your lego, in that case I'm happy.

But I doubt it.

By that I meant my box that holds the pieces that I love to greeble with. I made a venator attack MOC and used them but I somehow lost the pics. But I think I found it. I'll try to make a better air speeder. And like I said I made this cause I like the design on the sides. Using the two wedges to gice it a aerodynamic look.

It is "very study" and it shows that you sort of put it up without contemplating how you could make it's design better. I see room for tons of improvement in all sections of the ship, but particuarlly in the front where some greebles could have made the day !

It's ok, but the white looks out of place. Maybe add some white tiles or so.

Did you base this off Legorev's designs?

But, I really like the design on this, if you made this smoother is would be much better, I like the seat though and the back.

I know sial I know. I did put it together quickly but I shall make a much better one. Maybe next time my building shall please the master sial.

Gerrard- Yes the size is based of of legorevs design.

I like the R2 unit implanted in the front for increased speed. The speeder has some good angles particularly towards the back, but you need some tiles and or sloped bricks to offset the studs that are everywhere. Possibly some more greebles too.

That's pretty good. I like the shape of the whole thing,

Looks great except the color is dull.

The shape is excellent, but the front and sides could use some major greebling, add those, and it'll be epic.

I like the shape but I honestly think you could have done better by making it more smooth
