Tie Mauler
I finished this on Easter and took pics, but my dad was on the computer all day so I couldn't get them on then.
The folder isn't public, but here's a sneak peek:

Looks ok. I wouldn't have used the red piece on the front gun. Black or Gray most likely. It was pain trying to figure the treads wasn't it.
Re: Tie Mauler
Could you please post a lighter picture?? This one is very dark. For what I can see it's pretty nice, just as Rook said, change the front gun piece to black, grey or blue. Do you have any photo's from different angles?

Well, I was scrambling to find a 2x1 1 stud on top and I failed( ) so I slapped a dark red one on.
Also, I recently modified the inside of the 'wheels' and made it much more sturdy than it was.
Yeah, but I eventually got them.
DP, yes, I do have some better pics. The light in my brother's room isn't phenomenal.

GREAT WORK! It turned out PERFECT! Technichallly they were grey, but I think this color scheme works better!

By lego standards, all TIEs are blue, except for the UCS TIE Advanced (which is one of the most awesome sets, IMO).

It would probably take up a LOT of display space I imagine, it was pretty BIG!

Folder ON!
Also, if I were to get my hands on that pretty Tie Advanced, it'd go alongside my (dusty but still pretty ) Sopwith Camel!

It looks great! I have to say though, assembiling those treads is tedious and annoying work, but the end result looks AWESOME!

I agree, I hate the TIE crawler for only that.

Have you checked LEGOshop.com, it's currently still available over here, who knows, you might still be able to get it!

Usually U.S. and Canada have the same availability, only rarely do one of us have something the other doesn't.

Rook wrote:Ah well there you go, I guess that doesn't help.
No it does because exclusives such as the Sandcrawler are one of the few items that we don't always have available at the same time.

Re: Tie Mauler
I noticed the US ad the TIE crawler for a few weeks before Canada did. I had 2 before they were even for sale up here.
