Delta squad.
I recently decided to try paper slipovers for Some republic commando minifigs. I don't plan to do this often because of the time it takes to design these, but it looks pretty good I think. My first fig is Sev. I couldn't find dark red legs so he has brown for now. Also the helmet is a stand in until I finish sculpting mine.

Sorry. I based that part off the pic I found here on Rebelscum:

Re: Delta squad.
I see one itty bitty dash as opposed to three whole blips.

Re: Delta squad.
Tell me, what about that inquiry sounds remotely noobish to you?

Re: Delta squad.
Not bad, but the slipovers could be placed a little more firmly on. It's not bad, but as said above, there is too much blue. Otherwise, it's not bad.

I don't know. I might get called a noob for asking a question like that rather than looking for one.
Re: Delta squad.
Stone, just ignore anything 80-0 says. EVER. You'll get on way better that way.
I endorse this post.

He isn't an Admin. And Jinja and J4ke just happen to hate 80-0.
Re: Delta squad.
No, he meant he should listen to J4kes' post because of the red admin writing saying 'I endorse this post'.
Re: Delta squad.
I'd say that writing's more of a brownish colour...

Re: Delta squad.
Ah..
The mystery is solved. Add it to the annals, Watson.
But to get back on topic...the paper's white doesn't match the 'fig too well, and it looks rather loose. Have you tried stickers? They're much better, and come out looking very well if done right. And, if you're doing clones, you can buy transparent sticker paper that looks almost as good as waterslide decals. I suggest that for sure!

Re: Delta squad.
It's a sweet design, I think the rust (whatever it is) makes the figure looks more realistic, but the mixing colours aren't so great.

If by rust you mean dark red marks, that isn't rust. It's blood.

Ah, explains it all then, I take it's not his blood then.
Re: Delta squad.
I asked this earlier but no one really helped me. Can I have a blank template for one of your paper slipover?

This is what I used as a base.
