Episode 12: The Battle for Nekt: Prey

I am very happy with this episode! My GIMPing is nice, and I finally really think that everything works, and I got everything I wanted to into the episode without making it feel strained!

Versilles, Lofsurra, Boom, and Cell were all on Nekt evacing refugee's when they were stranded by a Dark Jedi. He proved to be too much for the Jedi to handle, so they fled and broke down a cliff to evade their attacker.

The storyline and the GIMPing was good, but some of the speech bubbles are cut off.

Not bad, the gimping was done well, but maybe pick a different background for sky next time. I liked how there was a flash of light when Lofsurra started his flashback. But why don't any of your figures have hair?!

Oh, and I somehow have the feeling you don't have a clone Battlepack...

This was really nice, way better flashbacks in this one, oh and all grey city? FINALLY!

Pretty nice GIMPing, I like the flashback picture here and it's funny how he keeps saying boy.

Aaaaah. This was well worth the not-so-admirable comics of days past. I really have to comment on the flow of the story, and the naturalness of the dialog. It's simply superb. My only complaints lie in a little shoddiness in a few of the frames' GIMPing, and the way Boom was holding Lashfura .

But that's excusable .

Err... I doubt a Jeedai could carry a full grown Wookiee across a battlefield.

But it was nice, the flashback was pretty obvious (Kudos for the 1 COLOR CITY), I liked it.

That's correct, no clone battle pack.

As for the hairless people... there are only 3 in this comic. While Versilles just doesn't have hair, something I have been called out on already, the others were meant to be soldiers, so would have shaved heads.

Thanks everyone else! Except for Sial, sorta, who wihile calling this comic awesome, insulted all the others. I wasn't happy with the last one, ut most of the older ones were good too

The episode was great! The person I like in the episode is Boom and the wookie jedi. Great job man, you really out done yourself this time.

How the hell does that Wookiee speak Basic? I thought their vocal cords were incapable of doing so...

Well, jedi and others use translation devises to have them speak english basically.

Others use droids.

Just put it down to babelfish or translator microbes and move along.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. But sometimes Jedi aren't trained to use the force to communicate, its just like you said, they usually have to use protocal droids to translate.

I was hoping everyone would just assume that. Thanks for the wonderfully constructive comments Joe and Jinja.

I thought it was good, that sky background is beautiful, and the dialog is great. I really liked the sentence about the clones not having names, but just a bunch of numbers. Nicely done.
