Hey just wondering but does anyone know how sial does his blaster bolts? I like his alot better then the ones TB did in his tutorial.

That was a LONG time ago. I now make blaster bolts same way I do lightsabers.

Well, I did, and I've done a few things. Like this:
GIMP/Photoshop Thread - Page 10 Dooku_12

I did the lightsabers by using TB's shortened version, where you do every thing, except have only one black layer, with 25 blur, and then do the color balance.
And a Force lightning test (forgot the lightsabers):

The lightning looks icky, in my humble opinion. I personally prefer the tutorial provided.

Never test lightsabers or any light effects on a bright background! Try using a baseplate or something so we have have a clear look at your effects.

I think there's a brush or something..

But basically you can make a transparent layer. Draw thin white "rain". And then gaussian blur em.

Thanks for the advice TB. I'll try again when I next get some free time. Question: Can you get in the Guild on a comic(a good one), if you have 3 MOCs or more in the comic that the Council likes?

Well, you can erase your name spelled wrong and then write your name correctly. If you used layers you should be fine.
