Bowling For Droids (GBuild)

I think that this has improved a bit.

My camcorder sucks for pictures, sorry about that, but I tried to make the background the best possible.

It may look like the clone is just standing in the middle, but from the angle I shot it it just looks like it. He is actually very secure.

Tell me if this is an improvement!

The mech has improved a bit. Try and give the clone a bit more protection. As for the ground, it could use a bit more details like jagged rocks or something like that. A good improvement from last time though.

Alph, it's a hardsuit contest, not a floor detailing contest.

And it also says that it needs a display base, not a baseplate with a couple bricks, even though that is equivalent to a display base.

Yes, but the main focus is the hardsuit.

To be honest with you, we aren't living in the Legoboy Universe here. Droids can actually shoot guns accurately, and that clone is a sitting duck. He's far too exposed to enemy fire, and would be dead in a flash. Hardsuits are meant to give nearly full body protection except the head, so that only a sniper or a bloody lucky shot could kill the trooper, without the use of heavy weapons.

Also, in an Anti-climatic end, the display needs some work.

Good point, though this hard suit stands a good 7-8 or times there size, and as I said above from the angle I took the picture it looks really open, though it is not as open as it seems. And why mention Legoboy?

The trooper is way too exposed to enemy fire, another improvement would be to make a shielded cockpit. Also the shape of the mech is a little bit chunky and it's angles are quite confusing.

Ah that's funny! I wish you would have added more detail to the side walls.

If this is a bowling ally, shouldn't it be a bit longer and there would be a ball? But good work non the less.

The ball is the doubled-over battle droid.


What that mech needs is some greebles! A spiny Tac-like rollbar-esque cover over the clone would work swimmingly in my opinion.
