Omaha beach invasion

Well, here we have some ideas for germans... please post your opinions/suggestions for them

Oh, and the helmets will be dark grey at the end.

I thought the Germans would wear some kind of trench coats.

The Kashyyk scout torso really kills it. You're trying to make 1944 Germans, not some über modern soldier with über tech and armour.

Oh, sorry each one is a different design. I thought that the kashyyyk one could be a sniper or something....

Do you like the third on in the second picture?

I'm agreeing with heady on this one...Kashyyyk and SPIII looks too modern. Otherwise, quite nice. Also, you'll still be switching the LMG and the frag grenades, right?

The last one with Stielhandgranate and plain legs is better.

Fail at Failing. Underwater, undersea, same thing. I said that it ALSO STANDS for what you just said... I didn't say it wasn't German, but the word 'U-boat' isn't German, it's an abbreviation of a German word...

Technically I'm pretty sure its the "Unterseeboat" I think that is what it is in German.

And Dy, I know some stickers you could apply to any grey or light gray torso to make them look like real Germans.

Where did you get that strap across the torso that holds grenades for the minifigs?

I would imagine it's Brickarms?

That scene is epic. Very nice job on the landscape. I like the waves and the water, but the sand and water should be a blood red because it's Omaha Beach is it not? So many Americans died on that beach. The other troops were swimming and crawling in blood. Soldiers got torn to shreads, drowned, and chopped up by propellers. Nice job though.

It's not mine.

This is a wip and my creation will be something of that sort.

Uhh, no to me a few words don't match saving private ryan.

Always wanted to see that movie, but never did. Hopefully I will see it in the future. Another gory war movie is Black Hawk Down. Read the book first though.

Get a residence in Germany and get some from the cheap sets from Sluban... Or get some mainland European to order them for you and then ship them to you... That's the only way I'm afraid that I can think of.

Well, Despite the fact that I won't get the helmets in a while I have made some god progress....

I think it would look better if the German officer had some sort of gun and less badges. Other than that, I like it!
