RULES FOR POSTING IN THIS SECTION!!! (Read Before Posting)

Welcome to the New Members Area,

This area of the forum is dedicated to members that are new to the CABG. If you have not introduced yourself to the CABG Community, please post a new topic to say 'hi' and get to know some of the old time and Guild Members. You are permitted to post link to one or more MOC galleries (photo hosting sites) of yours, so other members can see some of your work and put some suggestions upon welcoming you.

New Member Area Rules:

- Only ONE topic/thread per member please for introductory purposes only.
- Only links to YOUR MOC galleries are allowed.
- Images of MOCs are NOT permitted, this is an introductory topic not a showcase (see user level permissions).
- Discussion in introductory topics should be kept to welcomes and light comments on the new member's MOC gallery.
- Questions should be directed to the 'New Member Questions' topic at the top of the forum.

The Report Button

Ever noticed that exclamation mark next to quote? This handy little thing is the report button. This is basically like a 911 call. You push it, select a category from the top then add any other details you want. When a staff member comes online they can see all the reported posts and can deal with them without going through everyone's posts. it's encouraged to do this rather than being a 'Mini-MOD*'. This is a great feature of our forum, but some people are abusing it. Reporting perfect posts containing creations and saying 'This is awesome!' isn't helpful at all. A) The builder won't even see it and B) It wastes the staff's time and you might get a strike. It's pretty much the CABG version of 911. You ring then the police (Staff) come and arrest (Ban) the offender. But what happens if you waste police time, eh? Just think about it. The report button is a brilliant idea and it would be great if you used it properly. So please, by all means report bad posts, but only bad posts.

The Shift Key

This handsome fellow is called Shifty, and he wants to be your friend. Shifty is feeling really lonely and neglected at the moment since hardly any new members decide to use him. Shifty is a really helpful friend, holding him down can turn boring lowercase letters (a), into awesome capital letters (A)! These capitals are used at the front of sentences, acronyms, names and places. I will now do an example text to show you where to use Shifty.
