Nice going Rook, you can completely exclude me, Clonecommando007, CloneCommandoXion, Phazezorz, Thunder-blade and Gerrard (most of which had multiple and quality entries) from being front-paged but you can feature your self, Knight and 80-0 twice. Can anyone else say FAVORITISM?

Whoa...Rook isn't playing favorite, it was probably just random.

That might be true but you can’t deny that those that were front-paged are going to have a heads-up in the polls. All I’m saying is that if he would have deleted the 3 repeats and added 3 more pictures below the 9, everyone would get face-time.

Why would they have a heads up in the polls? Only G-members can vote, and what goes on the front page doesn't sway voters.

I respectfully disagree and submit that contest entries that have been front-paged have statistically had a greater occurrence of placing then those not front-paged.

If it's good people will vote for it whether it's been FP'd or not.

Sorry it was favoritism. I did pick out the best looking pictures. Didn't really care who made them. So sorry for posting stuff that I thought looked good on our front page.

I believe it would only effect the judging IF non-guildies could vote.

Do to the overwhelming backlash and Rook’s guilt trip I’ll pull my entry out as not to appear biased and to attract attention to fairness. Hopefully in the future, the only contest entries that will get front-paged will be those that have already won. If this guild is so intent on pleasing non-guildies (and before I get another backlash, yes I am a noob) to the point were contest transparency is compromised, then maybe they should be allowed to vote like guildies; heaven knows most of us are just as subconsciously swayed as them.

Yeah you have really good point. It should have had all of the entries or only the winning ones. Thanks for your import. I'll remove this from the front page.
