727th Trooper
Yes, the Men in Red are back! Well, sorta. I did this with one of my helmet casts and some sharpies. Yes, it is a closed-visor PII helmet.
Enjoy! C&C Welcome.

Re: 727th Trooper
I like the sharpied bit of the clone but the helmet cast doesn't look right.

Re: 727th Trooper
How so? You don't like the closed visor?
Otherwise, it's the exact same as Lego's PII helmet.

Re: 727th Trooper
It's not a decal, I sharpied it on.

Re: 727th Trooper
The helmet almost looks "chubbier" than the normal lego model.
Edit: I think it might be the mouth piece at the bottom.

Re: 727th Trooper
I mean the actual visor looks a bit too small, but other than that I think it is quite good.

Re: 727th Trooper
I agree, the helmet seems different, but I don't know how.

Re: 727th Trooper
Hmmm... the sharpies not bad, somewhat messy though, and the helmet doesn't exactly look like the TLC one. It looks a bit oversized.
Re: 727th Trooper
Reminds me of Clonefactory's clones for some reason, the helmet does. I like it, very clean sharpie job.
Re: 727th Trooper
Hopefully this will fix the helmet debate
Area circled in green is the area I think makes the helmet look off.

Re: 727th Trooper
I know this is off-topic, but how did you make the helmet?
It looks really good.

I love how you guys are over-analyzing this. This is a 2-minute sharpie job I did in the middle of the night...

Apparently C&C aren't welcome.
You could have tried a bit harder and then posted it....

It is welcome, just expect a little feedback...

Re: 727th Trooper
The Sharpie's fine, in my opinion. But I agree with what BBprod said about the mouth area. Casting seems to simplify some details...

Re: 727th Trooper
Oh, don't get me wrong. I think you did a great job of sharpieing. I just think those resin casted helmets look a little storm trooper ish.
