Mission 2.2 Empty Mission 2.2

Post by Justin Pyne Sun Jan 09, 2011 7:29 pm

I told Trayton and Copper to stay behind and gather as much produce as they could find. Ever since the CIS dropped that bio-chemical bomb on the island, everything began to die. If it weren't for my sealed helmet, I'd probably be dead too. To make matters worse, there were platoons of B1's roaming the entire area. They were stragglers, so they weren't too hard to get rid of. B2's would be a problem.

Predictably, I eventually came across a SBD. Hell Droids, as I like to call them. I've seen them on Geonosis and Bakura, and both times I never had enough firepower to take them down. We just sat there, staring at each other. Second later, it lashed out and sent dozens of blaster bolts thrashing towards me. I didn't know what to do. I didn't move. I just shot. A blind shot, to be specific.

I hit my target. The B2 had been shot in the arm. It didn't do much damage, but seconds later the droid exploded into oblivion, all thanks to my DC-15x Rifle. I had modified it to shoot a flachette dart. No matter where I hit my target, the dart would explode on impact.Nonetheless, I had been wounded. I was shot in the leg, and when Trayton and Copper caught up to me, they said I was lucky to be alive. Copper had medical training, so he helped me out with that.

I just hope I can repay him someday.

The story may be a bit hard to follow, but that's because I didn't post 2.1. I didn't find it good enough to have it's own topic, but it can be viewed here. Also, all of this is part of the 457th Corps.

C&C are appreciated!

This is very nice Justin, I like those two rocks. I feel the path is a bit to bland and could use a little bit more detail.

Looks great overall!

Thumbs up

Lovely. The simplicity if your MOCs works wonders. It night be plain and lacking detail, but I find that better for some reason.

I just think you need to layer the sand area a bit more and then it would look better. Wink

I must say, your MOC's, although small, have a great story in them. I don't know why you didn't post 2.1, I thought it was good, and it would help everyone follow the story better here on CABG. But so far, story had been nice, hope to see even more action! Wink

Great job once again. Have you ever considered making bigger MOCs? Razz

I love the story, and the MOC, but the sand could use some more layering. Apart from that, great job!
