And the Parachute variant:

More pictures on My Flickr, which is linked to in my signature. Enjoy, comments are welcome. Smile Fordo Yo!

ohmigodbrandonbuiltsomething

Anyway, I think it's a little to bright with that shade of green. Try it in dark bley or dark green.

What's off about the shaping? And I would have used a darker color, but I just don't think I have the bricks to do it. :/

I bet you used the Toy Story (shame on lego for the crap!) army dudes set. I've got it too, but only for the figs. The woman at the store asked if it was a present! (moment of shame that I share with lego!) Doh!

This is great for a first-timer! You've got the basic shape down and the parachute version is epic. My only nitpicks are the front bumper, it'd be cooler if it were 6 wide and vertical, not horizontal, and if the hood could be just one stud over the wheel mudguards instead of 2. Great work here all around. Wow this thing looks

Thanks, and I'll see what I can do about the bumper, but what do you mean by the hood should be one stud over the wheel mudguards instead of two? Smile

I think that's kind of how they're supposed to be:

The way the bumper is held on the grate can't move forward, and I also thought the front looked funny when I tried moving it forward.

Hmmm. Try to lower it somewhat, and at least increase the hood length by one stud, if not two.
