What one could use the most work?
Thomsons Finest
Thomsons finest:
One of the GAR best kept secrets, only the best troopers in the 101st were chosen to join Thomsons Finest.
Bullseye
Sniper
Raptor
Team leader
Code
Slicer
Bigarm
Heavy gunner
Bash
Demolishionist
Formed late in the clone wars, only Alec, and Thomson know about these troopers. If absoloutly neccesary, they have permission to kill basic clone troopers to preserve their secret. They can destroy a droid base faster than any commando squad, and can fight their way out of any situation. They were also trained by Thomson.

Yup. I just said it before other people get mad, because it happened with me. The troopers are okay.

Re: Thomsons Finest
They seem a little dirty to me. I would've used more intricate detailing and less sharpie. But they look nice I guess, but definantly not anywhere near as good as a commando squad, with all that red.
No but really I highly doubt that they're better than a commando squad. Besides, if they were trained by a Clone Trooper, tompson, they would not be anywhere near as good as a squad of four brothers raised togehter and trained togehter since birth and trained by an elite Mandalorian instructor.

Well, Thomson is a ARC trooper, and I am not saying they are better, just faster.

Re: Thomsons Finest
They're very messy your clones toooo much red and black on it all at once. I think Clone Commandos are actually faster than ARCs because, if you have ever played Star Wars: Republic Commando they can destroy a CIS capital ship in about 5-10 minutes and escape in less than 5 minutes. So Commandos are faster.

That doesn't really belong here.... however I feel inclined to opine on this.
ARCs are more geared to the long-term projects, ones that require care and subtlety. Sabotage, inciting political upheaval, assassinations, et cetra. They also can complement a ground force and just kick arse. Commandos are set up for force recon, preparing the battlefield, asset denial, so on so forth.

I think the helmets are not that good because you colored all over them. But Code is really cool!
Re: Thomsons Finest
OK, here are my points:
1. They are NOT the best.
2. They can only be faster than Commandos if they're ARC Troopers. So are they ARC Troopers? I know Thomson is, but are they?
3. ARCs, when trained by a serious Mandalorian, prefer to do missions solo.
4. But an exception can be made when we are reminded of Fordo on Muunilist.
5. It's a bit messy.
That's all I have to say.

Re: Thomsons Finest
Firstly, Thompsons Finest = Republic Commandoes. They could defeat them. Y'know how fast you die from SBDs and B1s in RC? Pretty fast. And, on the Prosecutor, Sev was "incapacitated" within one freaking knife to the body (Doesn't kill you).
Secondly, ARC Troopers are better than Clone Commandoes.
If they were put into combat with each other, ARCs win, hands down.
Thirdly, and on to Thomsons Finest;
1. Most of them I like - Code and abunch of others to be precise
2. Secondly - Sometimes, Markers/Sharpies are used for marking areas of the helmet, not the whole helmet
3. Thirdly, they are overall good, just the issue with the helmet. Nice work!

Even the commandos acknowledged the superiority of the ARC troopers, Darman having stated that the ARC troopers were about the closest thing on the Republic's side that he feared and Atin having complimented the ARC troopers for being "pretty well raw Jango."

Thanks! I guess they are basiclly clone troopers given ARC training.

Re: Thomsons Finest
Like the ACP Squad? They were ARC Troopers pulled out to form a Spec. Ops. squad. And the ERS? They hired elite mercenaries from throughout the galaxy (Excluding Brov, and Aaron was an assassin at the time the 704th found him).

Re: Thomsons Finest
If you ever played the game, from what you're saying here you probably stopped playing before you finished it. Once you know what you're doing and how to kill the enemy units, you're unstoppable. How do you think the squad in the last level defeated advanced dwarf spider droids, battle droids, super battle droids, geonosian elite warriors, trandoshan mercenaries, and even magnaguards? Training and experience. It seems difficult in the begining because you don't know what you're doing.Alpha wrote:Firstly, Thompsons Finest = Republic Commandoes. They could defeat them. The commandos excelled at almost everything after they got used to it. But ARC troopers were better.

Re: Thomsons Finest
Yes I know, but (Very likely there'll be cover) if there's about 2-4 SBDs and 2-3 B1s firing at you, you're toast in a couple minutes/seconds unless you get your AA out or take cover. And yes, over time, they/you gain experience, and they/you get stronger. And yes again, I have finished Republic Commando, and even I feel some stages are a bit hard.

Re: Thomsons Finest
I think that your Clone Commandos are a tad messy Aki....
And I have a question: Why are there 5 commandos in a squad? Aren't there only 4 in a squad?
Next time you make clones, Sharpie them slowly, use the fine-tipped ones as well as the thick ones. Don't forget to add intricate details.
Take my clone commandos for example:here.
And when adding stickers go slowly and if you make a mistake, peel it off and apply it till it's perfect, makes it look sooooo much better.

Whoops! So they are super-trained clone troopers... but they are neither commandos or ARCs..... interesting.
Sorry about the mix-up!
