Re: GIMP/Photoshop Thread
I don't know what kind of camera he has... but in general it's the small flower icon/button.
Welcome to CABG 198! I hope you enjoy your stay!

Holy wow!
Perhaps make it a little straighter but still retain the jaggedness of lightning? If you are going to make it big and spread out might as well make it REALLY big.
But that's still a fantastic walkthrough! You really know the ins and outs of GIMP!

You guys are too kind! Most of these I made up as I went along.....
These are just the most simple tools, I actually don't know how to do all the fancy lighting and stuff like that....

Nah, it's like this:
A man makes something awesome, truly awesome, but he makes it in a few seconds with simplistic materials.
The people love what he made, but they don't understand how little it meant to him because it's totally new to them.

It's simple:
A man makes something truly amazing, but it's easy for him to do. The townspeople love it and consider it groundbreaking and amazing, but the man doesen't understand because it was so simple for him to make.

I will post my next tutorial soon!

Not bad, just clean it up more....
Do one layer at a time carefully... It takes alot of practice...

That'd make a really good fire technique. If that was a flame thrower, you'd be set!
Re: GIMP/Photoshop Thread
Well for fire you'd need it to be more "round" and kinda bubbly and flamey.... never thought of doing a flamethrower thought Sial, I'll be sure to try it!
Re: GIMP/Photoshop Thread
Linky for my latest attempt.

What do you mean rounding? To make the paths in closer to the figure?
