Databank/Factions/CIS/Artillery/Walker/MAW/Information

In the later years of the Clone Wars, Conferderace Galactica created a new type of walker, the Mercinus Assault Walker. After its initial test run, it was proved to be a success, and was produced, although in limited numbers. As a safety precaution, these units were armoud with cortosis/phrik alloy, which made them deadly to the republic forces. After the Skirmish on Tatooine, where one MAW wiped out an entire platoon, they were usually placed near General Grievous, as the 1 Jedi was presumably equal to a MAW.

It's a pretty sleek and snakelike design that looks good plus it's simple. It doesn't really look CIS though- too bley. Throw some dark blue and sand blue bricks in there with some CIS insignia and I'll be convinced. Cool cockpit screen too, put a transparent brick on there or something.

I was going to say the same thing. Nice sleek walker...but it doesn't really look CIS like. The CIS didn't use walkers like that. It's just not their style.

Yep that would be a good solution.

CC- The CIS didn't really use walkers, therefore it's a perfect horizon for imagination and creation! A tough idea to tackle because there is no reference.

But also, all CIS vehicles weren't nessecarily Dark Blue or Tan. Take the N4-N99 Persuader-Class Droid Enforcer or the Tsmeu-6 Personal Wheel Bike. They're gray/bley.

And I see your point, CC, but if the CIS had tanks, starfighters, and even wheelbikes piloted by B1s, why shouldn't they have walkers piloted by B1s?

This is true but Grievous' speeder bike was really only used on Utapau and was an indigenous design to that particular system. As for the snail droid, I have a feeling it was somewhat-blue at one point in time but excessive use in the CW knocked paint off. They could also be gray in general. But if the CIS were to make a walker I'd expect it to be at least a little dark blue or sand blue somewhere because it would make it look great!

I see your point, and there has been more D-blue added. I'm reposting pics, standby.

...but if you can't see the blue, it's because of the lightning, deal with it, ect. If you STILL want to see the D-blue, just wait for the BoMPII.

This is pretty good Alpha, I like the concept and the MOC is good too!

I think it's leaning a little too far out though....

OK, nice concept, but it's rather plain. Seriously, if you took out the battle droid, covered the cockpit over and added an Austrian flag, this could've passed for RAMM! Razz Add a secondary colour, such as sand blue, to the head, and maybe on the legs too. I'm not gonna demand greebles on this, becasue it looks nice and smooth, but you should sort out the feet, as they look messy. Make the back of the walker higher than the front too, unless you want the pilots to get sniped from behind in a flanking maneuver.

Finally, TAKE YOUR PICTURES IN A WELL-LIT AREA!!!!1!11!!ONE!!1111 Seriously, Grab a couple of lamps, use your flash, and take loads of pictures so that you can select the best to put online. These pictures just aren't good quality. And if the pictures are low quality, then no-one will be able to see your MOCs, and no-one will want to comment.

The first set was bright, the 2nd set was not bright, as I remade it and added the D-blue. And as for the cockpit, I could add the things and make it taller. But the cockpit's open, end of story.

Actually, it was used in other battles including the one on Parein II 4. On topic, I like the design, it's very sleek!

Updating "lighter" pics. Standby. And if you're interested in "snipers", take the AT-RT. I'm pretty sure there were a thousand of these that got destroyed.

That's the point of "My Own Creation". Should I "edit" it to a "Pirate" walker? Roll Eyes

Rule #1 of a MOC is: Use a plausible design. A MOC with a huge cannon and 4 tiny legs just isn't plausible, is it? Neither is yours.
