The 527th Legion
Looks like a good start so far!
I especially like the Indian Jedi; nice job with that.
Also, on the subject of clones:
The dark red ones are good and good to have that Fox Commander minifig as a leader, but the arms, torso, and helmet paint(I assume that's what you used ) could be done a little cleaner. If it's sharpie you used you should try and get it a solid color rather than scratchyish, and possibly keep it straight. Otherwise it's good that you're customizing and that you're using stickers!

Re: The 527th Legion
Actually I wouldn't recommend paint. It's kinda messy.
Stickers are the best way to go; if you've seen Wuzzupbob's handiwork at printing minifigures you will see what I mean.

Re: The 527th Legion
Oh... yes... the 527th squad? Wait -- perhaps it's the 527th Batallion?
Hehe, I get such a kick out of myself.
Anywho, some of your clones are very nice, but the rest just look like I smeared blood or puked on them. I'm not a big fan of sharpies . Vehicles or other MOCs would be nice .

Re: The 527th Legion
The figs are ok for a beginner...
I would start with Sharpies, becuase they are very easy to control and are easy to remove if you make a mistake.
The stickers need ALOT of work... they are not straight or even... use other people's decals and then make your own...

Re: The 527th Legion
Yeah I need to do the stickers in something better than pencil but I still prefer to make my own. But I'll work on them and update soon.

Not "uneven" just the decals aren't symmetrical (not symmetrical in the sense that every side is the same)

I'm not sure I understand.
I really don't see that; I understand symmetry but I don't see a lack thereof in the stickers.

No, I understand what he means like on the sharpshooters the breast plate is different on either side.

The guy on the right (camo) his chest plates(for lack of a better word) are uneven and are overlapping...
And Fjord... did you draw the stickers by hand?

Re: The 527th Legion
I did hand draw them because my printer doesn't work.

Re: The 527th Legion
Ahh. Indeed, I see now!
Well, until your printer is fixed I'd suggest working on some MOCs. This website isn't just custom figs(which is undeniably a large share of it ); we build here as well.

Re: The 527th Legion
I did have some vehicles I was going to post but I don't think they were good enough so I'll work on them first. And delta-77, I hadn't thought of making all of the majors but I probably will now, It sounds like fun.

That my friend, is a sign of maturity!
Most n00bs here just post their MOC that they just finished, without reviewing how good it is.
Kudos to you!

Yeah, I just thought that compared to the quality of some of the MOCs on this site I should wait till I have the best possible product.

Just remember: If you feel you're getting nowhere don't just destroy it; for all you know it could be great and just need the slightest update!

True, true I might post them tomorrow after a little work, but I won't start completely over.CommandoEighty-Oh wrote:Just remember: If you feel you're getting nowhere don't just destroy it; for all you know it could be great and just need the slightest update!

Looks nice - But I hate stormtrooper helmets out of place.

Re: The 527th Legion
I know, I don't really like it either but not having them would kinda deplete my number of troopers.Clonecommando007 wrote:Looks nice - But I hate stormtrooper helmets out of place.
Any way that you know of adding crests?
actually I'll make them into marine armor and update soon

Re: The 527th Legion
Sorry about the double post, but what's up with my thread here. The original post isn't even here (at least for me) and I really want to update it. Does anyone know what's going on?
