Re: The 527th Legion
Two double posts FTW! I just talked with CC-007 and he said he can't do anything to help so I'm just going to post it right here again.
The 527th Legion
MAKING THE UNDEAD, DEAD AGAIN.
As many divisions of the GAR, these clones started out as standard infantry, but once the war progressed, the need for specialized units took over many infantry legions and made them into unique task forces. The 527th was not in the battle of Geonosis and was created a month later where it saw action in the battle of Kamino. Two weeks later they were shipped to Coruscant to thwart a Cthon uprising backed by techno union scientists, and took a liking to the special fallout armor they were given for the radiation. The GAR command took note of this and started sending them on missions to planets with high radiation levels and otherwise infected areas. The Jedi Council also sent General Dhal, an Indulian Jedi master, with the legion due to his high resistance to most types of radiation and airborne infections. The 527th was unresponsive to the command of order 66. They had been out of contact for six days after a report of heavy casualties from an unnamed enemy. It is unknown if they helped the Jedi or killed him, or what happened them after that last transmission.
Jedi General Dhal
Dhal: "He only talks when he is telling us what to do, and he compares every battle with a philosophical poem of some sort. Nothin' but respect for the man's spiritual view of battle, but it gets the troops in a bad mood sometimes." "General Dhal is amazing to watch fight, I don't know if all Jedi do it the same way, but he's so... fluid on the field, like he's just a piece of flimsi flowin' in the wind. It makes me want to try one of those Lightsaber things, but he's much too intimidating to even ask."
Senior Clone Commander 4244, AKA "Thor" or "cuir"(meaning four in mando'a)
Thor: "A great leader, but a terrible executioner," as one of his troops once said, commenting on his kindness "and whenever we're in a clear zone, he takes his helmet off to fight, smiling the whole time." His troops started to notice a slight decrease in Thor's sanity as the war progressed, taking long amounts of time to himself, muttering and talking in his sleep, taking unlabeled pills in copious amounts. "Maybe It's the fact that were slotting things that are... no, used to be alive that gets to him. And the smiling in battle thing, it gets creepy after a while, like he enjoys it."
