Yeah, flare got me thinking with his talk about units. So I silhouetted a AT-HS, a armor commander, a few clones, and a TX-130/c fighter tank.

I also like the sound of finnese over force.

A little alliteration with those F's. But could I get a picture of your turret? I may have trouble if I can't squeeze it in between those layers...

That looks like it would be a little hard, but who am I to say such things. I suck even with paint.

Yeah, the shape's a bit irregular, and is more equipment than it is a unit . Can't work it in very well...

This is a VERY preliminary version. The notes are for Jinja, who's going to do his bit now, I believe. The LAAT is only a placeholder, I was experimenting with how much space there was. Also, the aurabesh will possibly return to its original place.

To clarify, do we still want the Republic symbol superimposed on the 815th logo, or just the dashes around the edge?

Up to you, although I think that the dashes around the edge look ok. If you superimpose the two, you lose the clarity of both, I found.

I vote that we use the Aurabesh, so long as you all remeber that it's 8-1-5 and no other combination thereof. (Sialboats, I'm looking at you! )

IN addition, I was thinking about populating the bottom "half" with Clone trooper silhoettes, and the top half with aa Jedi Starfighter flying by (Delta-5, for preference), to get rid of the large empty spaces, and of course to symbolise the importance of the partnership between Jedi Generals and their troops. (Or something like that anyway... )

First off, love it. Perhaps go a tad darker with that orange though. Want more of a earthy tone.
If you're going to do the silhoettes, I'd advise you to invert the colors (white to orange, orange to white), so the silhoettes would stand out more. However, I think it would be best to keep it simple if you're doing something for unit designations.

Modern day designations aren't very complex.






So, I'm not entirely set on the extra detaling with silhoettes.

Shruken, simple version. Problems getting that text small enough to fit where I want it, with it being discernable . Any sugesstions?
