Re: The 30 Hour Ship
Well I flipped the ship over today during lunch and started putting platting on the bottom of the wings. I might have it done on 25 hours but I doubt it.

As long as the wings are steady this is always my favorite part of MOCing.
Be sure you put some extra support beams in the middle to connect and support the plates on the edges.

Re: The 30 Hour Ship
This is technically minifig scale right?
Roughly the same size as the 'Falcon, meaning this is UCS in TLG's eyes right?
(just another way of me saying that this is huge )

Re: The 30 Hour Ship
Well I'm not sure who recommend the Landing Craft from S01E05 "Rookies" but it will be minifigure scale to that one and it will look a lot like it, just different markings.
Re: The 30 Hour Ship
How big should the MF to the landing craft? But it still is huge.
It must of been hard flipping it over.

Well if you have enough room it's not that hard I think.

Progress Report: I'm running out of pieces so it isn't going to be as nice as I wanted it to be. I will finish it but I may have to revisit this ship in a year or two when I have more pieces!

Re: The 30 Hour Ship
The thought of scrapping my Collection room crossed my mind but have to rebuild all those ships just wasn't worth the final details. It will still be cool just not perfect.

Re: The 30 Hour Ship
Brick link is such a rip off for a phase 1 clone trooper, I mean really!

Re: The 30 Hour Ship
I have a pick-a-brick near by that I get a personal discount at but they had run out of plates. Ordering pieces and waiting a week would just drive me nuts. As it is I'm committed to completing this thing ASAP. I'd like to be able to post the final on the 1st. But I'm not sure if I'll be done by then. Busy week. Fundraiser this weekend and camping next weekend.
