Tri-Droid
Here is one of the few Tri-droids on the internet, at least it was when it was originally built, and among the few good looking ones (in my opinion, and when it was built).

http://mocpages.com/moc.php/68738 That's where the leg design comes from, so this is only partially my design. I designed the head.
For slightly different shots: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/90443
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=366856
Those there are on my other website accounts. Of course, I like MOCpages better than brickshelf, because it's my community, and there I'm an inspiration to all the Clone Wars kiddies who like the Seps. Not as much a idol as the famous Fed, but up there. Brickshelf is a little to impersonal for me. This site is about in between, no noobs like MOCpages, but not as bleak, big, and lonely as Brickshelf.
So, enjoy the blasphemy of old and new grey mixing!

'oh:
Change that... I almost chewed you out for pulling a noob move .
All in all, good design, solid legs. The head is not as circular as I'd like it to be, but that's just personal taste. The cannons could also be a little bigger. You'll find an assassin in your house tonight for mixing old/new grey & bley.
Okay... maybe not the last part .
Re: Tri-Droid
Pretty good size, nice detail, and I like the piston things on the legs. Good job overall! Anyways Sail has a point there are plenty of tri-droids on the internet, so don't try to gloat or anything.

Back when I made this, it was one of the few. The number has been increasing lately, but compare the Tri-droid count to the LAAT or Venator count. I've seen about 15 Tri-droids on various site to the 50-60 odd Venators, and the 30-40 odd LAATs. By no means is this a new MOC, I finished this months ago.
Just look on brickshelf, they aren't too many Tri droids, and there arn't many Tri-droids on MOCpages. Well, at least ones that look good. But, in relation to Star Destroyers and Milenium Falcons, Tri droids are scarce.
And if you want a really small number, check out my Subjugator class (Malevolence). There's like 8 out there.

Re: Tri-Droid
Yeah, Rook's is looking good too.
But that is pretty sweet. Tri droids are pretty hard to make because of the lets, but technic pieces really come in handy with that problem.

Nice work! That looks really nice! The legs are my favorite.

Yeh, I'd like to see it. Tri-droids are a favorite of mine.
And everyone else, what should I post next:

Modded AAT, please. I can't wait to se it. Nice tri-droid! It's the best one I've seen!
Re: Tri-Droid
Pretty good indeed. The feet could use some work, they are too big in my opinion.

Re: Tri-Droid
I really like it, I have to say. The mixing of the new and old grays is not overly evident, and on top of that, the design is fantastic! It's a large sized gMOC, but don't really lack detail. It could be cleaned up and shaped up a little leg wise, and I see a few bricks that if removed could shape it up a fair amount, but over all it looks good!
For whatever reason I assumed you'd be one of the pompous new members who only whine about themselves (still me even though I got past noobie stage a while ago ) but your very good and will be a great adittion to the site!

Big feet are good for this, though:

Glad to see someone not from MOCpages thinks that. One of the first images I posted, to compare one of my things to one of Legorevolutions, I got bashed by 80-0 for it being "blocky and awful". Well, see there, I do whine about myself, so I'm not out of noobie stage yet. Well, I assume noobie stage could refer 2 takng lik dis, but I never really went through that. See, still talking about myself. I'm a talker.
Well, now I got to go finish a latin project, then I can take pictures of my AAT mod outside. The dark blue looks great in the sun. Let's hope it's still shining by the time I'm done...

Not too bad, a bit blocky on the legs but other than that I like it.

Re: Tri-Droid
You need to edit you posts to take out the extra code. Love the Jedi getting stepped on. All and all, not bad for your first attempt on this MOC. Good thing you posted yours first it's not going to look as good with mine standing next to it.
Re: Tri-Droid
Epic win.
This is the best Tri-droid I have seen(Yes, even better than Rook's... ), and I really don't have any complaints except that the head isn't totally round.

Yeah, I knew that, although I think his basic structure is better...
