Re: 762nd Clones
Yes, I did - Lego isn't my only hobby (although it's the first thing I've drawn in a long time)...CT44 wrote:... I also like your drawing of 'Zulu'.(If you did draw it)
Are you going to recreate it or make a new set derived from Zulu's?JediSpring wrote:Hey, I really like your clones. I was wondering if you could show the back of Zulu because I was really inspired and I want to create a decal of him if that's alright.
This is a WIP, but they did have leg decals until I removed all of them. I'm redesigning them at the moment.cody3693 wrote:... The only one problem is that you could of made more detail on the legs then just the red boot color ....

Actually, so would I. Maybe a collaborative project?

My 762nd Legion thus far:
Note that the engineer's and medic's helmets have been repainted.
The two decal-less ones at the front are yet to have a purpose and the female clone is getting her decals redone (making her more curvy)
And Zulu's back:

And it's not stopping there... Still need to make my Rangers, pilots, other special clones...
Also somebody asked if I used paint or decals: I use both - paint for the feet and for the helmets (except for Zulu's bottom lip stripes); everything else is decalled. The paint I use is acrylic modelling paint (mostly Mr. Hobby)

Re: 762nd Clones
Alright, CG, sounds like a good plan. Sorry I'm posting so late but I've been busy today and I just finished the Nu-Class Shuttle.

Re: 762nd Clones
Dude those are really good. The painting is very well done and the colors are a good choice. I think the regular Ep. 3 trooper is the best though.
Edit: Opps I didn't realize this was a older topic.

Very nice!!!! Zulu looks really REALLY awsome. The medic looks cool, and the long haired one is creepy.

Re: 762nd Clones
Ugh my 4th regimental commanda' was gonna be female. And a good name for her too, Vixen. I even had a comic planned that was called "Fox and his Vixen" But aside from that (and the fem looking creepy) Nice work! Although don't mix PI with PII(Even though I did it with storm troopers too, but don't tell anybody.Shh!!!)

Woah, the eyes on the long-haired one creep me out. But I love what you did here, everything looks smooth and even!

Does she really look creepy? I wanted to make her face fit in with the other clone's faces, so I designed it with a similar style to them.
This is decal I used for her face:
Does this also look creepy?
Please leave feedback about this - I don't want her to look creepy...

I can see that you've based this off the CW faces, and that just makes it naturally creepy. Maybe if you made the eyes a bit smaller?

Code_Green wrote:Creepy? Smaller eyes? What are you talking about? The female clone looks great!
I'm talking about the fact that Clone Wars minifigure heads are often deemed 'creepy' when compared to other minifigure heads.

Oh, right. I can see what you mean.
Annakin looks crazy in the clone wars lego compared to other minifigures!
