Battle For the Mountain Pass Empty Battle For the Mountain Pass

Yes, I know the name's still a bit korny, but do you have any suggestions? Anyway, this is a little diorama I built yesterday after I came back from the Lego store. I used quite a few pieces I had bought. You purists out there, don't worry. The Commando is a Commander Cody Keychain. I pulled out the ring and then shaved down the fin. I would not ruin my perfectly fine Cody. Here's the story:

A Clone Patrol has been lost somewhere in mountain pass and a lone Commando has been sent out to find them. But there is nothing left to find. A savage Wolf has massacred the two Clones...and the Commando stands no chance, but he won't give up easily.

Pictures:

An overall view of the Diorama. This is a 16x16 Bignette. The Grey Baseplates are not part of the MOC.

A closer look at the detail. I tried to make the Cave seem dark, and spread some 'leftovers' around.

The Figs.

The Wolf. He came with one of the Vikings sets, I took of his hind legs and attached him to the mountains.

Alright, so what do you think? I think it turned out rather good, and I'm actually pretty pleased with it. C&C Welcome.

Pretty cool! Does the body of keychain figs come apart once you remove the pin? And maybe you should fill the hole in so it looks more natural, but other than that, I love the scene! Smile

Only the head, but the head is normally glued to the headpiece.

Never. EVER. Use BURPs to substitute main rocks!

They are repetitive and don't look too good, I'd suggest making your own rocks with slopes.

Nah, with enough 1x1 coverage they can look OK, as they do here.

Yes, I'm trying to find something to fill the hole. Preferrably Playdoh.

I like it and good job with the wolf. Maybe would have made the rocks a bit bigger though.
