I honestly don't see it. I'm very much original.CT44 wrote:Sorry, but it seemed waaayyy to much like Squad 42.

It was pretty cool. Far better than your last. Just a few nitpicks:
When the commando walked up to open fire, the droids didn't even raise their guns.
It was quite shaky.

Well, I just saw some different parts such as:
Commanders invading droid base
Speederbikes driving up alonf with juggernaut to attack the droid base just like in Gareth's movies.
Those were the main things...I'm not saying it's not good though, it is.

Very good storyline. Some of the shot are awesome.

Voice audio was a little uneven and lower the background music. Other than that I'm a fan. Kudos!

Pretty well done and a lot better than you last, though some things bugged me. The droids didn't even raise their guns when the clones went into clear range, they just stood there and were waiting to be killed. The story line is great, a little shaky but overall well done.

I love the part at the end! " Indeed." This was a great movie, although it was a tad shaky.

It was kind of like squad 42 . But great otherwise! Just lower the background music a tad.
Re: Lego Star Wars: Shadow Force II- Incursion
A number of things struck my attention. Some are minor nitpicks, though...
For one thing, in the 'final battle' when the heavy trooper was standing there it seemed a little silly that he alone was commanding the assault. Secondly, when he first opens fire he fires a green shot. Later, when he fires at the dwarf spider droid, he fires an RPG round. Ordnance consistency mishap?
Plus, the shots are fairly nice, but I'd rather see the clones firing in blue.
When things blow up, it would help to take a few more shots to see them move instead of one big jump across the ground.
The camera movement was quite shaky in the beginning: a tripod of any shape or size would be of great assistance.
When the clone commando(1 commando alone??? no squad?) walks up to the droid line, again, it is quite silly that the droids don't fire. And why does the dwarf spider droid fall to a Z-6 rotary? Maybe it would in reality(SW reality that is), but again, just my sentiments.
And the voices are... Worse than Garet's.
It isn't bad: I watched it from beginning to end, which is more than I can say for some things I've watched.
EDIT: One last thing! When you're switching music tracks, try and time them so they don't reach a high point in the notes so that you can notice the track-switching. It sorta sticks out when people go from, say, Greivous and the Droids to Anakin's Dark Deeds, and then to Anakin's Betrayal in two seconds...

Why do people keep saying this? In Squad 42, the basic story is a droid attack, followed by the story of some troops on the ground who are then saved by a group of commands.
In Rogue's movie, the commander and a few troops go on a Spec Op mission, while the rest of the troopers wait until the Spec Op mission is over. Then, the clones finish off the droids.
The only similarity is that the clones destroy droids. Otherwise, Rogue's movie is original.

Re: Lego Star Wars: Shadow Force II- Incursion
I like this film much. I'm in love with that opening scene, although I do think the droid's tactics seemed a little...sleepy. At times. When there's a guy infront of you with a massive chain gun you'd think they'd at least raise their arms. That's my only quibble though, you clearly put a helluvalott've effort into it.
Re: Lego Star Wars: Shadow Force II- Incursion
It was generally uncreative in plot, but considering that doing a brick film is a gargantuan effort - I can overlook that.
While your trailers were extremely poor, your feature film was very, very good. Next time, see what you can do about getting some more unique score, add a layer of realism to it, and maybe increase those voices by an octave . Bravo! This was one of the better Clone Wars brick films I've seen this year.

I thank you for you understanding that I worked incredibly hard on this film.Garet6 wrote:I like this film much. PS- The droids where shocked to see a fearless clone come at them.
Once again, thanks for understanding the amount of effort I put into this. Indeed.Sialboats wrote:It was generally uncreative in plot, but considering that doing a brick film is a gargantuan effort - I can overlook that. And for all you who posted previous to Garets, shame on you who just stated crap and don't realize what I put into this film!

I have 2 nit-picks to make. Why didn't the clones fire blue lasers? I love blue laser fire from clones. Secondly, at about 5 minutes 14 seconds your republic gunship fires a rocket at oncoming droids. The place where it fires a rocket from is actually part of the engines (I think so anyway, all I know is that is doesn't launch rockets). And just saying, a Laat/i probably wouldn't have stayed on the ground, it may have circled from above offering air support.
On to the movie. I understand that you put a lot of effort into this and I appreciate that. While it wasn't the most moving, jaw dropping, inspiring brickfilm I have seen, I stilled loved the hell out of it. I really enjoyed the sequences of action (even if the plot had a some holes in it). Over all I think I'm going to watch it again after I post this. Can't wait to see part 3. There is a part 3 right?

Good Work
A little shaky, but well done. I especially like the heavy gunner's gun. Once again, well done .
