ZW-649 Separatist Tripod Walker.

Yes, it is Separatist, get over it... But it has clones in it.

Description: The ZW-649 Tripod Walker was developed in responce to the heavy walker support the Galactic Republic was using. With its thin but tactile legs, it could step over the light infintry of the republic to take out the heavier vehicles. The weapons used were two newly developed Z-95 chainguns and a PMR (Plasma Missile Rack). The droid pilot used the the Advanced Scoping Eye to view inside buildings and vehicles, and with its ability to target weak spots of the vehicle/ buildings (similar techniqus used on the hailfire droid).

I based this HEAVILY on The 2005 War of the Worlds Tripod, took a very long time to make, and this is my SECOND proper MOC.

Good book, decent movie .

The building techniques used in this are very impressive. The way you support the massive head is nifty, and it's nice to see those technic pieces from Grevious's Wheel Bike being used. The legs are a bit weak looking, however. You really didn't nail the organic feel of the Tripod automaton, so the flimsy ambulatory devices aren't really working for you . Also, you could lay off the trans green and red; I've always disliked them.

Impressice LP, it looks very nice. Though yes, I agree with Sial, they are just too distracting. The color combination is hard to see at first, but then it gets better. Overall, pretty nice job.

Is this going to be in your movie?

I think the Tripod is really awesome and I love how you posted a separists vehicle in a clone thing. You are a rebel and your my idol for doing that. Bravo to you!

Looks alot like its from war of the worlds. Anyways you did a great job with it. Oh and I love your flamer trooper its awesome!

It's an awesome MoC, but it looks more like an Imperial vehicle to me. (the bleu/black mix)

As i've said before, very nice indeed. A bit 'TIE', so maybe it should be an Imperial prototype, but great anyway.

Also, I LOVE that flame thrower design!

Very good design, and I like that edited pic, looks VERY similar to the War of the Worlds tripod, I like it!

The central eye is really facinating with the design and FX. Very well made indeed.

I like the idea, but the MOC itself... It could be better, maybe more flow, if you get what I mean... I'm bad at advice, but at least I'm trying here..
