The 99th Advance Legion *Completed*
We shall defend the Republic, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.
-Winston Churchclone
The 99th Advanced Legion was one of the earliest Legions released into the battlefield after the Battle of Geonosis. The 99th specializes in long, heavy assaults, usually within the most harsh and little-known planets in the Galaxy.
The 99th units are very down to earth, by the book sort of clones. Though many of them were independent, they never delayed when it came to orders. Most are very respectful to their brothers, inside or outside their Legion. However, that changed rather quickly when their Jedi General, Kale Solbane, started recruiting non-clone military volunteers. By the middle of the War, almost half of the 99th Legion's troops were non-clones. This mix caused the remaining 99th clone units to be even more individual and independent, almost as much as a regular human.
Although the 99th didn't see as much of the war as the other Legions, their skirmishes were long. Very long. The 99th seemed to have more than the usual amount of casualties, which is one reason why the Republic allowed non-clone units. Some of the equipment, vehicles, and weaponry were major prototypes, either made by the Grand Army or by their non-clone compatriots who found a knack for inventing.

Notable Units
Jedi
Jedi General Kale Solbane
I will never order my men to do something that I couldn't do. Without a Lightsaber and the Force, that is.
Solbane's story is much like any other Jedi's. He was found as a newborn on Nar Shadaa, and was raised in the Jedi Temple since then. Days before the war broke out, Kale finished his Jedi training, and was Knighted.
Kale always showed leading potential, and always acted much more mature for his age. Kale is highly respected among his men, and has a close friendship towards Captain Kev.
Clone Units
CC-0594 "Bronze"
If it's so natural to kill, how come we clones have to go into training to learn how? -CC-0594
CC-0594, nicknamed "Bronze", is the current Senior Commander of the 99th Legion. Strong, bold, and serious, he does everything by the book. Bronze was considered the "Perfect Clone" by the Kaminoans because his genetic structure went exactly as planned. Bronze is as serious as his genetic template Jango Fett, so serious that his men wonder if he's ever laughed before.
CC-1161 "Kev"
Ten clones wisely led will beat a hundred droids without a head.-CC-1161
CC-1161, nicknamed "Kev", is a Clone Captain for the 99th. Kev seems to take more of a liking to his men, and treats him more like a family than just soldiers. Kev received ARC training and is skilled in leadership. He actually turned down a position of Commander for another Legion so that he could fight alongside his his closest friends Kale and Bronze, who were his role models during his training. Kev also leads a 9-man team of ARC trained clones who are used for various missions that require assassination, stealth, or reconnaissance. Once Bronze actually mentioned, "If anything happens to me, I'm sure Kev will guide you through this bloody war."
Non-Clone Units
None at this time

Re: The 99th Advance Legion *Completed*
I like the symbol, I like the story. But I don't like one thing:
The fact that it is "elite".
It just seems like there are too many elite legions on here. Maybe if you changed the word elite to something else. Use a thesaurus

Elite? I thought a lot of people had "Assault"
Perhaps I'll remove that.

They do. But they also slyly throw elite in there somewhere.

This basically made me stop dead in my tracks. Sounds great so far, love the crest and quotes.

Nice Emblem (INH). I can't wait to see the rest of the legion. One question: Is this going to be a modded legion, or a purist one?

Right now it's purist, they'll have the same like in the battle for Geonosis.(yellow for Commander, red for Captain, etc.)
But after their first battle, they'll be custom troopers.

I love the logo, but people really need to start spelling Nar Shaddaa correctly.

Aye, One of the best for sure. But have you started on the actual troopers yet?
Re: The 99th Advance Legion *Completed*
Updated with Regiments and some extra stuff here and there. Will add pictures after my ear feels better.
@ Alpha: Thanks for the heads up. I'll fix that spelling soon.
@DY: The troopers will be purists during their first skirmish, but after that they'll be custom.

How are you gonna make your clone customs anyways? Paint, decals, stickers, sharpie?

I'm using decals. I think I have all the materials ready, just gotta wait till I'm feeling better. (Just had ear surgery yesterday)
Re: The 99th Advance Legion *Completed*
Finished after adding pictures of notable units. I'm hoping that I can start a comic series with this Legion, which means that there will be more updates as the 99th meet new people, new planets, and new battles as the series goes on.
An Admin can add the 99th to the chart now. Thanks.

I find it ironic that the torso on the first fig is my old Thunder-blade sig-fig torso.
...wait for it...
CLONES FTW!

Those pwn-tastic decals will be used in the future. Don't fret.

OMG Dano has a Legion?!
EDIT: I just have a minor problem.....it's too generic, I love how you made it a simple Legion....but the advanced part....

It's the 99th ADVANCE Legion. Not like an "elite" Legion, it's a Legion where they "advance" through enemy
territory.
But I need to fix that on the emblem.
Re: The 99th Advance Legion *Completed*
Alright, who's the son of a gun that added "Winston Churchclone" to my Legion quote?
