Episode 1 Duel

Lately I havn't been building much because of school but I do have some things that have been lying around for a while.

a while ago my Star Destoyer broke and I tried to build an Acclamator witch failed, miserably. So I found a bunch of wedge pieces and a bunch of hinge pieces and started to make a circle, I came up with a little bit more than a half circle and came up with this.










Sorry for the crappy back round, I was a little lazy...

It looks rather bland; some greebling on the walls wouldn't be unhealthy, and completing the circle would also be an improvement.

It is a little small. The walls could use some greebles but I think that was said before.


It's a nice start.

There could be a bit more detail, and if you look at the actual building there is some sort of spinning fan at the bottom of the pit.

The wall is a bit bland but the floor is epic win. Really great technique there, bud.

To be honest I didn't look at a referance at all so I didn't really think of the fan. And the lack of greebles was, unfortunantly, laziness.

I havn't taken it apart so I may add on to it.

Now how in the name of the Force would he be able to do that? He'd have to build a very long pit to get that far. Much too big for a vignette like this.

Well there's one important thing missing INSIDE the circle or else Obiwan would have never grabbed onto it and the Star Wars Saga would come to an end =( Don't get it? its the little red/black thing (I forget) that he hung onto my thoughts would bulk the bottom up to do that and also make the entire thing maybe? The battle zone thing should be complete not just half of it. One last thing add greebles because I think I recall Maul throwing stuff? Correct me if I'm wrong. Everything else is great. Thats all I have to say.

I like the use of red lightsabers as the lasers. But more greebling here is needed a a darker lighting would have been better. Also try making the hole bigger.

Well, he could make like one or two layers down for the hole, and then he could put a small hole at the bottom to look like it was deep down.

By the way, what are greebles? Sorry for this :spammers: post.

They're tiny pieces used on bland surfaces to add more detail more or less.

And wtf is with the people and saying "build a huge pit and add something for him to hold on to and a big death fan thingamahjiggy(and YES thingamahjiggy IS a real word, look it up. )? Do you really think he has the pieces for that? Get real pplz....

But yes, it could use greebles, but it's not bad, just not excellent.

Wall greebles, pl0x. The MOC looks painfully bland without the detailing on the walls and without the changes in texture on the floor.

Also, a black piece of construction paper beneath the MOC would have gone a long way .

The hole looks good but the background is just bad.
I noticed something also, where is Obi-Wan's lightsaber?

I was thinking the same thing after a few looks at it maybe it's cliped to his side and we can't see it?
